Not user friendly

HuskerIn

Unable to see tracking for orders. App cancels orders for no reason. Buy your coffee at the store to save the aggravation.

Error messages hang the app

MooKahn

App is fine… EXCEPT if you happen to do something that generates an onscreen error message (“nothing added to cart”. “promo code not valid” etc ) there is no way to release the error message and while it is onscreen you can’t do anything else in the app. The only “fix” is to bail, close and re-launch the app. If you’re logged in whatever was in your cart will still be there, but it’s still a giant PITA.

It’s the little things…

I’ve been enjoying my Nespresso Vertuo for about 3 years now. Since the pandemic began I’ve placed all my orders through the app. The app is wonderful, super quick and user-friendly. Remarkably, I usually receive my order within 2-3 days! Most important, the coffee is delicious and the crema makes me feel like I’m having an expensive beverage at an upscale coffee shop! Enjoying my Nespresso each morning starts my day with a smile!

Coffee is good, app is pointless

Sddggh

The app is fine if you just want to buy some more pods, but the whole connect to your machine part is absolutely pointless. Only lets you check the cereal number and that it, no smart features other than sending data about what coffee I’m making every day back to the company. A waste of resources even putting Wi-Fi in the machines if it doesn’t do anything. The app works, but it’s pretty pointless and doesn’t warrant the space on my phone. It would also be nice to be able to rate and review pods on their store. I’d love to see other peoples opinions when buying/trying.

Love the coffee, not the app.

The app is not as fancy as the coffee. When opening the app, it only shows 2 pods, with no option to refresh to show more options. What’s the purpose? It would also be nice to search for the free sample options and to add 2 recycling bags instead of just one. Some customers order pods from Amazon, so the bag is needed for previously purchased coffee. At least add the option to pay for the bag’s shipping. I just would expect a little more from the fancy brand.

Love the coffee. Tolerate the app.

The app has some functionality issues and behaves inconsistently. Sometimes gets hung up on something and won’t process an order until each item is removed. If I didn’t love my machine or if I could buy capsules locally, I wouldn’t keep using this app as my main way to buy nespresso capsules. It just needs a few tweaks to streamline and improve user experience.

App is a true disappointment, but matches trends

Yessamp

VPs of technology and communications should replaced. A steadying trend of poor maintenance and support of current loyal coffee drinkers isn't something that should be further tolerated. My Houston store is not even listed in the app. While the store employees do their best news and deals for the store are not communicated to customers. Many reviews here are confused and false. This is not about the coffee!!! This is about the app.

App:4; Coffee 5

the app is easy to use, but “spins” some times and can’t press continue. Closing the app and logging back in usually works. I’ve been drinking Nespresso for three years and love the coffee. I don’t find them bitter. I can leave a cup out until it is Luke warm and still no bitterness.

Meh

Enthous

This app has a lot of eye candy and has fallen into the same trap as a lot of apps these days: visual appeal at the expense of usability. The app actually breaks when clicking on at least one link; navigation is cumbersome, making it awkward. I find myself going to my desktop and using the web interface, which suffers some of the same shortcomings but in general is easier to use.

App needs work

What I See in the 513

01/10/2022 the app seems very buggy. It tends to freeze a lot, especially when I go to my cart and make any changes. I have to close the app and reopen. I wish it would allow you to save promo codes (example: the $10 off first order codes that comes with machine). Since I have to force close app, I have to re-enter the random letter/number code again. There are some design features that could make the app more user friendly for those who aren’t experts. There are Barista Creations that are Espressos but not listed under Espresso/Double Espressos lists (example: Bianco Leggero) You have to click on each pod (in barista collection) to see which are coffees and espressos. Finally, I wish you could order more than one recycling bag. I have enough empty pods that it will already fill the bag…. It would be great if they either allowed you to order more than one bag OR if you could print off a label and either slap it on the Nespresso sleeve box or a random cardboard box you might already have.
