Awful post moderation

People in my neighborhood love to use this app to witch-hunt and shame people who show up on the news in our area; namely people who were caught up in shoplifting or some relatively unharmful petty crimes. They will post inflammatory screenshots of certain figures or strange foil cap conspiracies from Facebook. Whenever I report these unnecessary posts they never get taken down, but every time I post real suspicious activity with photos and clear information my posts are reviewed and taken down. Every single time. The review team seems to be lacking.

The information is great, but it would be even easier to read if they enabled Dark Mode and gave users the ability to bold and increase fonts. Are there any plans for these kinds of updates? Not everybody has young eyes.

I used to use it until I lost my phone. Now I have a new number and can’t figure out how to update so I can get back on it….

Found someone looking in my garage and this app deleted my post. Clearly a community issue and dangerous if you have kids to have a random person come into your garage looking around. I’m sure it’s because I said African American. Sorry I didn’t want to say black as I am African American.
Missing controls on videos

Controls to pause play unmute audio and go to full screen have disappeared this week making it very difficult to get a better look at the bad guys. The ability to pause to get anything usable from the videos has disappeared and toggling to full screen on an iPhone has become difficult at best. This is like trying to make a car simpler to drive by removing the brake pedal and the steering wheel.

I think it’s handy although some get out of hand maybe being a little over watchful if I might say. But as a whole it’s a great tool to keep the neighbors on alert and knowing what’s happening good or bad I. Our neighborhood. It’s necessary for our times we live in. Good job Neighbors!!!
