My husband and I always have a problem after scanning a certain number of products, we have to enter barcodes by hand. It’s frustrating for both of us! We’re thinking of asking for the “old” barcode scanner. Thanks, Cheryl

I been using the mobile app since NCPMobile started. It has changed a lot since it first started. The only thing I get really angry about is when I have a lot to scan the app will crash and there goes all my data. I don’t feel like taking it all out since I’m handicapped and redo it over again.

Earn points for recording shopping trips, and taking brief surveys. Use those points to buy items from the gift guide, or enter in sweepstakes. Plus thousands of opportunities to win literally Thousands of dollars. All this to help other consumers and companies understand what does and doesn’t work and what does and doesn’t matter to consumers when purchasing items. See and hear little phrases in commercials such as “number one in sales, or America’s favorite, etc”? Look at the fine print and you’ll see measured by sales data via Neilson corp, or something along those lines. That’s “you” if you sign up and participate. I’ve been a member for over 10 years and have enjoyed all that’s involved, especially the gifts, gift cards, and cold hard cash. Just replaced my phone and was asked to review the app when I installed it on my new phone. Figured after 10+ years of being a member I would be able to confidently place a well educated review lol. Look into it, been a neat and positive experience.

While I never personally had any problems with hand held scanner the mobile app is much more convenient and very easy to use

I like that I can scan on the go and just click around instead of going through all the screens on the held held unit. Only issues is this scanner doesn’t always want to scan and it only excepts regular UPCs on in-store products and doesn’t for odd codes on Amazons purchases.

I've been using the new app for a few months now. Once in a while the phone won't read the codes, but I'm learning how to deal with it. I love using my phone...we go to WI often and now I can record purchases made there while we're there. Don't hesitate to try it.

Sometimes it works fine. Other times it is impossible to use. It simply will not focus on the barcode, no matter how many times I try. Very frustrating and time wasting. Then I try to enter the code by typing in the numbers, but every single time it says the code is invalid. Not once has it ever accepted a code I’ve typed in.

Really like this app a lot!! Easy, breezy to use. Quick & responsive too!! So much better to use than the old scanner.
