This app continues to close itself all the time. Ask for password reset and it sends code and self closes so you have to start over again. Ask for security questions and it self closes and you have to start all over again. I’ve written support and received none. Awful

Why isn’t there a North Carolina easy pass app? Why isn’t there a transponder that works with all toll systems? Probably because they make most of their money on penalties and are interested in having you be able to drive anywhere in the United States and pay for a toll by transponder. It is a corrupt industry and I’m sorry to see North Carolina isn’t trying to solve problem instead of contributing to it.

This app is horrible. Crashes never lets you log in and my guess is so that you can not use HOV for free. What a waste of time.

They advertise it as a way that you can use it HOV lane without having to pay at all but the app never works you can’t even reset your password. This has happened over and over to me I deleted the app and re-entered it. It’s happened different months different years. I think they don’t support it because they really just want to charge you the tolls even if you have enough passengers

Works great, you have to register your transponder. You don’t login with your Quick Pass account data.

Terrible app. I love typing in my password with uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters while trying to drive. Then trying to drill into tiny menus just to flip the transponder to “on”. And then waiting 15 minutes for what I entered to take effect. I’ve usually made it back home to my driveway before the transponder actually turns on. Amateurs.

App does not work. Reset password on portal multiple times. Uninstalled and installed the app.. Just does not work and the portal does not allow you to record your trip as HOV.. :(
App Crashes and They Steal Money

The app continually crashes if you have to reset your password. If you try to tap the security questions or the send code button the app crashes and you can never enter the code that is sent to you. The worst part about using HOV mode on the app is that it doesn’t always register when you’re using the lanes. Then when you dispute the charges they say you have to prove you were active on HOV which the only way to do is if you take a screenshot of your phone. I’ve had at least $50 stolen by NC QuickPass due to the app not registering my HOV mode with the toll system. Now I check every week and have at least 3-4 disputes a month. I am sure this is happening to a lot of people who are unaware or not as vigilant as I have become. They are probably stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from people who believe they are in HOV mode l, but never really check their statements and/or go through the lengthy and annoying dispute process!!
