So glad it's back! I missed my daily dose of NR while the app was down. Seems to work fine now.

Good Content, but still has some bugs

I love the content of the app, and I like that it is so accessible. However, some stories show up multiple times and the screen goes whit while reading stories every couple of minutes. I hope they can fix these issues to make their stories more user friendly

National Review has some of the best content out there. Pretty much everything about their mobile presence, however, makes it impossible to see this content. The screen in the NR Digital app goes blank without explanation after less than a minute, making it impossible to read more than a paragraph or two. Accessing NR articles through links posted to social apps like Facebook makes them crash every time (why do you even bother with social if it's going to do that?). And of course, they don't even post articles to the NRO app anymore, unless that's actually a bug in THAT app too. When will NR make their content accessible at all via mobile, at long last??

All the problems gone

I've always liked the content of NR, but the app left me cold. All of the annoying problems of earlier. Erosions have been fixed and it now performs better than most magazine apps.

Annoying blank screens

Generally good app from a great magazine -- but the screen goes blank on my phone every 2-3 minutes or so, presumably when the ads reload. This means I have to back out of the story, reload it & race back to where I was to frantically start reading again. Unfortunately, this interferes greatly with the thoughtful reading the material deserves. The performance is so poor that I'm disinclined to subscribe to avoid The many & disruptive ads -- paying for such a poor experience would be insulting.

Downloaded and deleted 5 minutes later after the screen went blank during the middle of an article. Same problem plagues their mobile site. Ads interfere with reading. Don't bother.

Great Journalism/Average App

I love the journalism the National Review provides. Unfortunately the app much like the website constantly freezes up and it's very tough to get through the whole article. Hopefully the fix it!

Problems NOT gone

Don't believe the problems are gone. It's the buggiest app I have. Scrolling is sticky, frustrating, plus same article will be "featured" 3 times on same screen. Too bad because there is some good content. Helps me to read news from "both sides" of the red/blue line.

Crashes constantly--worthless

You can not read more than one paragraph--you will then have a blank page. No option other than exiting article and restarting--don't waste your money on a digital subscription--opt for paper.

I love reading the magazine on the app. Nice job. I am a loyal subscriber. My hate comes in the articles not in the magazine. I read a few paragraphs then the screen goes blank, resets and I have to scroll around until I find my place. Why????? So very annoying. Please please fix this.
