Stick with it

One of the simplest yet powerful databases around. It may be weird in the beginning but it’s worth the time to figure out. Once you’ve got it you’ve got it and you’ll be using the heck out of it everyday. I promise. I too downloaded it and then removed it. Then out of frustration with not being able to find a quick and simple powerful database I installed it again. I’ve created and recreated all the databases I created and used in tapforms, Ninox, daylight, MobiDB and others I cannot recall. But I like this the best. It’s all I need. You can actually write decent little databases in a very short amount of time. Go for it, and if you do....stick with it. You will thank me later. John

Love love this App

I am a crafter and I have a lot of books and other tools. I use this app to track all my books rulers stencils dies and equipment to make sure I don’t duplicate a purchase

Slick app when it works

I have no criticism for the functionality of the app - it’s got a lot of power and flexibility. My big gripe is that MyStuff2 Pro is a downgrade from the old version, for a few reasons: 1) It’s really janky and prone to locking up. It shouldn’t take over 5 minutes to enter a single CD. 2). It’s really slow to save new entries. 2) The database you’re accessing is light on data. When I can succeed in getting a CD barcode to scan, it imports the title, sometimes a cover image...and nothing else! I still have to manually enter artist, genre, and format. App is now only marginally better than manually building a spreadsheet. Update: App no longer allows entry of new artist names in the music database. Took off a star from the review. Update: Dropped another star from the review. App no longer allows manual input of anything.

Superior App—Seller DOES respond!

Self 2.0

I downloaded many inventory apps & I must’ve tried every option on all of them – most did not have everything I would have liked. This app offers the capabilities of making it everything you want for each category – no restrictions. This is the most well thought-out inventory program of any format that I have tried in the past – my compliments to the creator! When I first downloaded the app, I had some issues and emailed support, and within hours I had a response each time. If you are unsure of the capabilities, download the free trial which has all the Pro features and try for yourself. Take the time to set it up as you need – really it’s not that hard. **Warning: Once you get started, you can’t stop – it’s kind of addictive... Highly recommend for detailed users!

Cart before the horse. Makes NO sense. Dyslexic information entry order.

So user UNfriendly, it HAS to be intentional. You cant add an item by name. You have to add attributes, then values (still dont know how to do that) & custom values dont count, then somehow name the item?! I should be able to add items by name, and only by name, if I like. Great if frustration and trash is what you seek.

Used for years...still the best database out there

I’ve used MyStuff2 for years. It’s the only iPad database that allows any attachment you desire to import. If it were not for this major feature it just wouldn’t be a database.

Disappointed

ndhdidj974!:&,

I purchased the app thinking that i would be able to better keep track of the equipment I take care of. unfortunately afyer a purchased the app and updated all my "pro" features are gone to the extent that i cannot add any data to this Piece of $h!t app. wasted my money, lesson learned.

Can’t transfer from previous MyStuff2

Sin City Knight

Just got a new phone and loaded Mystuff pro. I have 1200 dvds and when I transfer items it only lets me transfer 15 DVD’s.

Kinda ok

Couple of things don’t work. Add attachment - you would think this would allow a file like a pdf of a receipt to be added. But it isn’t. It exports your database so it can be an attachment. This is useless as it also has an export option which is meant for this purpose. Add photo. Well kinda works. It seems to want to get photos from the videos folder, making it impossible to add photos. There doesn’t seem to be a way to export to a printed file with value totals or options to add or remove page columns. The only way I have found to print is to export to CSv and then open it in excel. It’s not intuitive at all, menus to get back and forth are really weird, terminology is strange ( what does iCloud database vs iCloud server account even mean ) how do i tell if my database is backing up. Where is it backing up Every iOS update it loses its “pro” registration. It’s about the only home inventory, and it would be good with some face lifting and cleanup.

Love it
