Could be better

This has a large variety of activities and puzzle. The problem, for me, is that some are too simple while others are beyond comprehension. The multiple puzzle is annoying. I followed the shapes and placed them correctly according to the image, and nothing happened. Skip. Another puzzle had me pushing in rocks that were NOT clearly defined. I couldn't figure out which rocks I was supposed to push on. And what was with all the people hiding in the scenes? Anyway. Not for me

Spooky!

Great graphics and scenes. Some sequences seem confusing and some figures which are clearly " morphing" do not respond to a touch.

Should be 5 stars, but way too buggy

On its face, this game has everything I'm looking for. The graphics are beautiful, the storyline is somewhat novel, there are a number of challenging puzzles, and overall it's more an engaging adventure than a basic HOP game. I love the collectible orchestra players, which allow you to add an instrument to the music each time you discover a new musician. The thermal sensor that helps you determine where the villain was is also a neat touch. The core problem, unfortunately, is that this game was released too early without enough beta testing. There are glitches and oddities throughout. It was a harbinger of doom when in the first scene, I was told to find a wrench, I found a wrench and applied it, then was told I had the wrong tool – which ultimately turned out to be a screwdriver located in another scene. More items were mislabeled, and the ability to select hidden objects with accuracy was erratic. The touch screen was also problematic with some of the minigames. I had to skip one game that involved turning dials and moving blocks because the controls were hypersensitive. The most frustrating issue for me was that I completed at least three or four difficult puzzles and did not get credit for completion. In each case, I had finished the puzzle with a slightly alternative but valid result than the developers had taken into account. For example, in one puzzle you have to move blocks around so that pipes fit into various slots. I completed the puzzle with the empty space in a spot different then the spot shown in the "correct" solution. In another game, you place numbers in rows and columns so that they match designated sums. Again, I placed the numbers in a way that satisfied these requirements, but which the developers had not considered. Each time, I ended up having to skip the game in order to move forward. If I had not purchased this game on sale, I would have requested a refund. It is a shame that there was such a rush to market for this game. If these inaccuracies, bugs, and alternate game solutions had been remediated before the game was released, this would have been outstanding and the model, in my opinion, of the perfect HOP/puzzle game.

So dumb

Repetitive, predictable. Def wish I didn't waste my money. Even if it only cost $1.99 - $2.99 like the big fish games used to cost, it still wouldn't have been worth it.

Mystery Trackers

I enjoy the Mystery Trackers series. I'm looking for something not too challenging yet entertaining while I'm also keeping an eye on the TV. I haven't gotten too far into this game, but love the premise - the kidnapping, how to get the victim back, the villain - and, of course, Elf. I'll have to see as the game progresses how interesting it actually is.

Enjoyed it

I have always liked the Mystery Trackers games. There were a few of the games that made no sense to me at all though.

This is not a very smooth game.

Had to move to menu when the game would get stuck. Example in theater I had the wrench in my inventory and tried several times to use the wrench on the floor near the seat and it would not let me until I kind of refreshed it by going to menu page. Why would I buy this when it does even work on a simple task.
