LIDL App

Arby Spam

Used this the first time today. Could get into the app. Requested a new or reset my password took almost 10-15 to get a response from those people. Wasn’t able to use it at checkout. So the clock is ticking for the benefits. The app is not what I’d call ergonomic. Doesn’t provide the products’ price. The apps a weak sister. Disappointing! Not certain I’ll bother with this ...heck I’m not actually sure why I took the time to even write this comment. That said, y’all I will continue to shop at LIDL.

Difficult

Word addict in KOP

This is a difficult app to navigate. It doesn’t tell you price or location in the store. When you search for an item (eggs) that’s what is added to your list. You then have the option of looking at what is available. But when you add that specific type of egg it doesn’t change you list to say that specific egg I guess I’ve been spoiled by Wegmans app that shoes you a picture of the specific item, what isle it’s in and the price.

Love LIDL, app needs improvement

medtchva

I love LIDL and the app is pretty good for viewing weekly sales flyers, choosing available coupons, and scanning at checkout. I agree with many of the things already said - search not very usable, can’t find a way to delete old lists, weekly ads can be glitchy to view (sometimes won’t show up), rewards have yet to work for me, etc.

Quickly Went Downhill...not worth my time

I got this app when it first came out, and loved the savings. The first month that I spent $150, I got a $10 off of a $40 purchase digital coupon. The second month, $20 off $100. Then Lidl got cheap, now it’s 15% off cheese or 30% off personal care. What? Spend $150 and get “rewarded” with less than 1% if what I spent. They also used to have digital coupons for specific items, and those have disappeared as well. So, other than using it for making a grocery list, what’s the point? Stop calling it rewards because that’s just a falsehood.

Prices

I really like using the app but I wish it had prices when shopping in the browse section to better fine tune my list

Wrong map directions for current Ashburn VA location.

Tv1969cphs

Ashburn Va store map is wrong!! No quality control for the app. I wonder if that lack of QC carries over to store operations. Check the map out and you will see it is miles away from the correct store location.

Nice display of some features, but still needs improvement

Mr.TimB

Aside from smart shopping features like shopping lists, etc, I want to use grocery store apps to shop for sales and specific items (items I need) and their prices. So far Lidl is doing well in their app with weekly specials, but if I search for a specific item to buy they do not display the price. Very frustrating! I am willing to drive past several other grocery stores to buy at Lidl, but not if I don’t know the price. Also, I like their bakery, but I cannot see any prices via the app for bakery nor which bakery items are on special for the day/week. Until pricing is included more into the app, I’ll only be an occasional shopper.

No pricing information

trb_greenville

I think the title says it all. Given the number of times this has been mentioned in the comments, I can only conclude that there has been a conscious decision by the Lidl management not to include pricing information in the app, the reasons for which I will not speculate on here. Otherwise not a bad app, but I have to give one star for the refusal to include such a basic, necessary feature.

Great store! Love the organic availability?

Update breaks QR code at register?

PenguinFred

Since my app updated on 11/8, the QR code (checkout button) no longer works, I.e. the QR code shows but the scanner doesn’t recognize it, and I have to punch in my phone number while stopping checkout. Argh.
