The app is a basic platform that really just displays items with little interactive features afforded to the customer. First and foremost, this app MUST provide a feature that SCANS the barcode of purchased items in order to save the transactions electronically! WalMart, Lowe’s and Wegman’s apps offer a good model for this feature. Second, MORE DETAILED information (e.g. features, warranties, MSDS info) on products MUST be provided in this app. Bring the level of this app to a more robust platform on par with other retail chains. I hope that LIDL, with all its resources, makes some changes and additions to this anemic app that will provide a high class application for their very loyal customers.

This app has coupons and rewards, what’s not to like? I especially like you can shake your phone to get the qr code. The rewards are great, I haven’t seen other grocery stores offer low prices every day and category coupons (frozen food, deli, etc.) or $5 off my $30 purchase, so its a win-win for me.

I love the ease of the app and the great deals that are consistently offered every week. One of my favorite features is the myLidl game, it’s easy to see how much more I need to shop in order to get my reward. It’s very efficient (and exciting!) I check in every week to read the explanations of featured products and specials... one time, the description of the bacon sounded so tasty it made me go out and buy some as soon as I read it! The grocery list feature is great and searching for items to add to my list is a breeze. Lidl always surprises me with super cool and yummy looking products whenever I log in. I love Lidl and I love this app!!
