This is an amazing application that does more than increase savings. It has recipes and shopping features that save tons of time and money!! I love the recipes menu which list ingredients that can be added to a shopping list with one tap! The shopping lists can be saved/updated and shared by household members too! As another reviewer mentioned the “lidl games” are fantastic! You can earn up to 2 rewards a month-this month I received both rewards: 30% off beverages and 20% off vegetables and fruit (which I used for a salad bar luncheon at work). My all time fave is the “specials” tab, one press and it displays options to view current and upcoming specials (these items include things like sewing machines, bread makers, air loungers, trendy clothing, etc.). I literally live for Wednesday’s (when Lidl updates the “specials” list). If you are a Lidl lover but don’t have this app you’re totally missing out!!!

Took five tries to get the app to work. There’s no way to upload receipts if you signed up and had a current receipt with you. I know I am trying to post this, and have tried a dozen usernames, but they are all taken, even though some of them are very obscure. Makes me doubt that they are truly taken. Perhaps the app is not excepting my review because I gave it one star? I will now try for the 13th time and hope for better luck. The number 13 did not work either. Let’s try for number 14. Nope. 15? I now know this is a giant scam. I type something in that no one else could have typed in and it still said the name is already taken. No way! I just picked a random word, “approach” and the app said that was already taken as a nickname. Some kind of scam going on here!

The app is quite easy to use. Any coupons are automatically added and you earn extra discounts for shopping three times a month and spending $150 or more. Some are one time use and some are multiple use. It would be nice to know that beforehand. Also missing a ‘total’ savings feature in the app. It would be great to keep track how much one saves over the course of a year for example. I also love that I can check upcoming specials through the app and plan my shopping accordingly.
Terrible Login Requirements

You cannot browse a local stores sales or set it as your store without logging in. There is 0 reason for this and it is particularly frustrating when the authentication servers are wonky like today. The only reason to require login for basic functionality, such as seeing local store sales is to force identification, which then leads me to wonder just what all they are tracking. I will say that while I like Lidl’s stores, this behaviour drives me to my local competitors.

Can’t seem to find them in this app. Help please? If, in fact, there are no ads and no way to compile a list from the ad, then this app is really not worth much
Hard to navigate

I spent way too long registering through the app. I must have typed my email in 10 times before my email and password were accepted. Directions for signing in our sketchy. I hope the effort is worth it!

Provide a Contact feature (and have employees to respond) Forward Weekly Ad by email Explain what the Reward is for shopping 3 times (I stopped using the App because 1) I would rather have a keychain LIDL card, 2) I have absolutely NO idea what the Reward is, and 3) I didn’t receive any Reward after shopping 4 times
