The GCI Wireless Usage Viewer app enables GCI customers to view their wireless data usage right from their smartphone. It provides quick and easy access to real-time data usage. Key features include, but are not limited to:
· Secure login using customer’s ‘My.GCI’ ID. If you do not already have a My GCI account then you will need to sign up with one before using the GCI Usage Viewer Mobile App.
· Alerts and notifications of wireless data overage based on the customer’s data plan
· Real-time data usage based on customer’s billing cycle
· Data usage displayed in a simple bar graph that is quick and easy to understand
· Quick view of how many days are remaining in the customer’s current billing cycle

The GCI Usage Viewer app does require a data connection via the cellular network, or Wi-Fi

The latest version of the app basically got rid of the original app and replaced it with the main GCI website embedded in a web browser inside the app! Then they updated the app screenshots with their silly next-next-next intro to the app wizard thing which is really just an intro to their website. Apparently that’s all that’s left of the app’s “app-ness”, because that’s all the screenshots show. And when you get past that, it takes a full 15 seconds for the website (I mean app home screen?) to load, even over a fast GCI network connection.

New update back to zero nothing works. Blank screen. And then redirect you to GCI website.

But now it’s unusable. Literally the first page opens for me and then it won’t navigate anywhere else. Way to go GCI.

Update: talked to a GCI Rep and he was able to disable my data cap which was supposed to be disabled in the first place while the transition was being made. Im just trying to buy a data bucket, website sends me to update my app, app loads, opens an “app” of just a internet browser with the gci page as the homepage... 15 minuted later still trying to buy a data bucket so i can get a consistent stream with my family on skype

Way to go, GCI. Today is 1st if Aug, and the “new & improved” 3.0 version of your app is out. Well, it’s only AFTER I downloaded and installed it that the app informs us that it’s USELESS until the 4th. Soooo, now I can’t look at my data usage at all now. Good job guys- way to think things through. ??? You’ve only been promising unified billing for something like FIVE years now, what’s another few days? ??

Was able to login in for a couple months, no longer works. Says my info is wrong. Funny, the same info works online. Reading reviews this has been a problem for at least a year and they still haven’t fixed it???

I use this to track my home internet usage. If you click on the monthly usage, it displays daily usage.
