Doesn’t work at all

A month ago my onstar app ceased to work stating that I needed to update in order to work. I updated and now it just takes up space on my phone. ZERO communication with my volt. No remote start no status. Nothing. I saw this app and thought, “oh they’re replacing the onstar app with this one. I set it up. It looks JUST like the onstar app and functions just like it. IT DOESNT WORK AT ALL. Thanks for the app killing update. I have friends with remote starts on their key fobs (that never need a software update) wish I had one.

Cool app but does not work

Fix the app pls. Accessories page in app does not work most of the time since new update. Tried to order accessories but it will not give me a local dealership to pick up or install. Great idea for an app but it needs to run properly, so fix it.

Good app for vehicle control but horrible for ordering accessories. If anything goes wrong with ordering accessories then you have no control over editing or canceling an order that may be on backorder without having to contact the dealer that they allow you to use. You are better off contacting the dealer of your choice to place any orders.

Won’t start the truck

After this last update the app will not start my 2017 Silverado It spins and spins and then says fail and to drive the vehicle One time it said you can only do 2 starts. I only did one not sure where it was getting I did 2 ?? It works when I am connected to internet but when not it seems to take a long time and fails most And yes my cell signal is strong

Vehicle status no longer functions

Worked quite well for my 2016 Colorado until most recent update. Now, pulling down to refresh just begins updating and nothing happens. No change to anything else... and yes, I have deleted and reinstalled the app. Still no vehicle status.

No iPhone X Support

App mostly works ok for me, but sure hope they add iPhone X support soon. What’s the hold up?

Forcing Onstar plan, not cool

I have two premium 2015 GM vehicles and am very happy with them both. But, I am not happy about the “vehicle status” of this app requiring an onstar subscription when I already pay to have my vehicle included in my att mobile plan. The WiFi works great as att is a robust network in my area. The key fob features are great as well. But I feel there is no reason to not always include the vehicle status feature, other than some seedy and greedy deal between onstar and GM service promotions. I do not plan to ever purchase the overpriced onstar service, especially considering the premium sticker prices on the vehicles themselves, as well as the “connected car” on my att plan.
