Very poorly designed app. Great idea, if ya know you just wanted to record something and never hear from it again. Just stick to ol’ faithful Voice Memos.

This is my go-to app for recording. But I seriously wish it had the ability to play music while OUTSIDE of the app. That would be so freaking beautiful. Thank you for updating

Just fix the glitches then this app would amazing. I don’t understand why after a year or more it’s still glitchy?!? Sounds much better than voice memos and has some fun tools... But, it is really glitchy, and has been since Apple released the app. I lost 10 mins of a song idea yesterday because of the glitch. ?? Fix that, and fix the 2 mins of 'updating' (when there's nothing to update)... and you got yourself a good app.

Not perfect - especially if I play odd time signatures or odd bar numbers - but most of the time this app gets very close to understanding what I'm going for and generates quick ideas for bass and drums. I wish it had a click (even though it follows your rhythm) because it would make idea creation more usable when brought into GarageBand and logic. It's truly impressive and free. Wow.

Great but some bugs, bunny

The bass and drums auto-accompaniment are really great and add instant polish to your song sketches. But there are bugs. The worst is that the bass and drums sometimes stop working if you make any edits. I find that I can get them back if I start a new edit and then revert, but even then, the accompaniment is omitted in any exports. Workaround for me is to hook up to mac and record using QuickTime player. I hope Apple updates this app with fixes.
