I love how easy this app is to use and how quickly it is to get down your idea on guitar or keyboard or just with your voice the option to add back up drums and bass is really cool too. Very useful app to spur creativity. Thank you Apple. Please keep this app around!

This app is an essential part of my process. I suggest it to other songwriters all the time. One feature request that would make all the difference and require a couple lines of code and checkbox in XCode — enable Background Audio! I love using this app to experiment with lyrics and need to switch to different apps to take notes while I listen back.

Very useful app for on the go fun and pretty serious note taking! Auto drummer and bass is rather creative and well adjusted. Wish it had a looper feature, either way this app is excellent.
I really like this app and use it quite often.

I find this app very useful for recording ideas on the go when inspiration hits. A little laggy between tap and response, but something I can get used to. This actually surprises me coming from Apple, but I’m rating in terms of features and in that regard this is a solid and simple app that gets the job done extremely well.

Beginnings of a great app but all the problems it has will just irritate you when your trying to hurry up and record an idea because of all the bugs. Update Now the app keeps downloading deleting and repeating the same thing each time I use the app it’s really annoying.

I don’t usually write reviews but I really like this app and all the cool features it has such as the add on guitar/drums and being able to label each recording off into sections. One thing I really wish the manufacturers included was the ability to record while on another app on your phone. Most of the time when I’m recording covers or my own songs, I look up lyrics/chords and I wish I could record while also looking up something else.

I thought I could multitrack with this but I guess I can’t… I give it for five stars for what it is but I’m not so impressed with the job back up drum back up and I’m not so impressed with Apple voice recognition technology ha ha Ha

I used to love this app. It takes too long to start, glitches out on me all the time, and freezes randomly. I’m on iPhone 8, fully updated. As a musician I need ideas to be recorded quickly as possible and these problems have been happening for months...
