Designed to sabotage Apple TV?

This app performs terribly. Even with a rock solid, fast internet connection, the app constantly freezes, chokes, rebuffers, overlays two audio streams, etc. Streaming to Apple TV is an additional frustration - instead of being untethered from my device I still have to hold it so I can manage the app whenever it stalls. If it weren’t for the content, I’d purge this app from my iPad and iPhone in a heartbeat. You’d think Comcast must distribute this app as a Trojan Horse so that would-be users will go back to cable. Great content. Terrible app!

Seriously. How do you manage to make this app work worse, every day? PLEASE FIX THIS. YOU ARE LOSING A FAITHFUL VIEWER. Did you know it doesn’t even connect to “report a problem?” I can now catch video for 6 SECONDS AT A TIME. DOWN FROM 14 A FEW DAYS AGO. GET A NEW APP DEVELOPER.

This app is nice if you want to see a few seconds of MSNBC and then a few seconds of buffering over and over again.

App performance—awful! Programs—great!

The app stalls regularly. The sound goes out. It’s very frustrating. I often switch to CNN because their app works!! There’s no excuse for a poorly performing app. Not these days! Get your act together!

I gave it 3 out of 5 because that’s about how frequently videos play on the first attempt. Scratch that, 2 out of 5 is more accurate.

I am a supporter of MSNBC. I believe that they are a shining example of what Journalism can be and should. But as a software developer myself, this app is a professional embarrassment. If I was responsible for this app I would have released it.

Contact us does not work

A video for a show is not playing. A message prompts me to contact " Contact Us". I tried. I can't.

This app needs some serious work. Cuts out within a minute or two of streaming. It’s 2018, how is this even still a thing?

First: Apple, how did this app get past your review process? This is complete crap that any smaller developer would have gotten a rejection for. Feels like you are bowing to the big companies. MSNBC: this app is crap. * It does not play consistently * Content is not available consistently * It kills battery like crazy * It does not rotate properly * It does not use the audio controls properly Other than sometimes playing the content I want, this app is a complete waste of space on my device. Both Apple AND MSNBC should be ashamed of this garbage.
