The repeating ad blocks make for a terrible, mind-numbing experience. Constantly freezing. Very often causes chromecast to reboot. No other app I cast does this. I don’t understand how you can make something this bad and put it out there with these constant and frustrating problems.
Terrible and getting worse

This app started off passable a few versions ago. Now the crappy audio dropouts, constant refresh issues and random quits are near intolerable. Of all the streaming apps I use, this one is the worst - and can barely run for 10 minutes without one glitch or another. MSNBC - you s should have some standards - don’t you do any testing before release?

I wish I could give negative scores, as each and every ”update” makes this App worse. I have a fast >100 Mbps connection, 5G WiFi, and I have no troubles streaming from any other app. It’s gone from annoying to unusable. Long pauses, sound drops, and crashes are most of what I get. Even the commercials don’t play. MSNBC must not care about streaming content. They certainly must have hired incompetent programmers. If nothing else, one would expect MSNBC would care if commercials are going out. Hint... They aren't.
Obstructed screen view

The pause button is in the middle of the screen while viewing full-screen. It’s obstructing the video and is annoying!

I don't know why others are complaining. This app works perfectly and allows me to watch actual news while on the road. Thank you MSNBC.
Video Won’t Play

I’m signed in with my cable provider but the video of the shows I want to watch won’t play. All I get are the commercials.

You know with times the way they are the need for this information from This source is more Important than ever. WHEN ARE YOU going to fix this garbage app that can’t keep Not one single hour of programming streaming without interruption And freezing and just flat out failure. FIX THE APP our country depends on it. Please for the love of God.

This is the most frustrating, mainstream media app i have ever attempted to use. i’ve emailed msnbc dev support on two separate occasions, tried their suggestions, nothing has improved over the last 9 months.
