Not Worth it! Read for your own good!

I personally think this app is terrible because it cost money and there’s only 10 levels. I will admit that your graphics and the whole design of the game is amazing but that only makes me want to give it one star. The length of the game is more important than the graphics and the overall design, I finished the game in under 12 hours. The storyline of the game makes no sense at all, I believe this game was a waste of money and this does not make me want to buy the second version of the game. I’m only 12 I love video games and I’ve played 1 million I keep downloading apps every single day to find the perfect game. Being 12 I know I’m not the smartest but this is the biggest and worst waste of money I have ever spent.

This game is absolutely great. One problem: level 8 has problems loading. I have to close the app and open it again to play. Other than that, amazing!

Good but not great

I love this game don’t get me wrong but the art, clever puzzles and style don’t make up for the fact that the game is very short. The puzzles are clever but not challenging enough and if someone pays $5 for a game they should be able to enjoy it for more than a couple of hours. I’m still amazed and mesmerized by the art so that aspect was completely there but overall I found myself wanting more especially because the first game provided all I wanted for less and it set such a high benchmark.

Ruined by the “story”

I have two issues with this game. The first is the puzzles. The individual elements, primarily the illusion aspect, are incredible but the puzzles as a whole were lacking. There was rarely any confusion about what to do next. I almost always knew where to move, what slider to slide, or what handle to twist. In addition, the puzzles are short up until the couple puzzles resulting in this game lasting me just over an hour. The second issue I have with this game is the “story”. The story feels like it was created by a 4 year old. The player is some random girl who trespasses on a long dead civilization’s and is gonna get turned into a wingless crow person. Surprise! A few puzzles later she is turned into a bird with a crown and the crow people turn colorful, gain wings, and follow her without any explanation about how she got from point A to point B. Admittedly, puzzle game aren’t meant to have any decent or important story, but this game takes their terrible story, makes it the central focus of the game, and conveys it in brief poems. Poems that are disjoint and conflict with each other but take themselves seriously. Like the 4 year Old also is inexplicably an decent poet. He has the ability to write poetry but lacks the mental maturity to make it understandable. Brilliant puzzle elements, disappointing puzzles, and terrible story that is poorly conveyed, and makes itself seem like the most important part of the game.

I love monument valley so very much. It has always been a part of my heart. From the art work and sounds, it’s just so peaceful and beautiful. I remember when it first had came out and I was so in love with it! I recommend anyone who hasn’t yet tried it out to consider buying and playing this beautifully designed puzzle game! Although I wish it was more compatible with iPhone X such as filling the entire screen, which by the way would be so lovely if it could be updated to support the iPhone X screen!! Thank you so very much to the developers for bringing us such an exciting experience I’ll never forget!!

Yes, the puzzles are very easy. However, the games itself is amazingly beautiful. So look past the price and the easiness of the game.

The right amount of great artwork to the point any screen shot of this game could be used as a screen wallpaper. It’s not so good a replaying though. 1 time experience

I just redid the two MV. I am still in awe. It is beautiful soothing, and gives your brain a workout in a totally amazing way. I have a severe brain injury. MANY ordinary things are difficult for me. THIS is the way my brain thinks NOW. Thank you for making forget I have a new normal now! What a charming little diversion. This is delightful! Somehow it is soothing, challenging, and a lot of fun all rolled into one. The simplicity of the designs are a wonderful change. I usually go for mystery or adventure games. This may end up being a favorite for a LONG time.
