I love this app! It is sophisticated yet simple, with a beautiful design and fairly simple to use controls. The app does however need a little polishing: First of all, there is not enough cabinet space for modules. Not sure whether this is an issue of bogging down the cpu or something else, but an option to add or remove extra cabinet space would make this app so much better. There should be an option to have multiple cable colors in the same patch to improve differentiation between cables. A multiple module (similar design to INV-04 Signal Inverter) would be a nice addition. There should definitely be an edit mode for moving modules as opposed to the tap-hold-drag method. To all those who read this review: PLEASE BUY THE IN-APP PURCHASES TO ENCOURAGE THE DEV TEAM TO CONTINUE IMPROVING THE APP. It’s a huge bargain when compared to the Arturia Modular V, and I would love to see this app go further.

Controls start going crazy after about 5 min use. Cant zoom in/out, move around the view. I'm glad I didnt pay anything yet, looking forward to buyin once bug is fixed. Also patching cables is kinda hard even before it bugs out. It needs to be easier to plug a jack in on iphones small screen. Otherwise sounds and looks great.

This is the best GUI modular synth app hands down. But here are some requests to make it freaking awesome. 1. Step Sequencer option to switch out the keyboard for when wanted. 2. Some clock generator, divider and multiplier modules to trigger envelopes and LFOs ect. 3. More than just 3 shelves/rows. More space is never a bad thing. Especially since the output module is permanently installed lower right side. 4. Multiple-colored, simultaneously-used, patch cables. It gets hard to find your CV and Audio Signal paths after it gets crowded. Perhaps stack cables? (Wishing big, I know.) Occasionally when disconnecting cables there is a UI glitch and the cable becomes immobile and not connected to anything. This happens usually when zoomed in. Please update and keep new modules coming. This tides me over until I can get a full actual modular system going, and also when I'm on the couch and in the mood to experiment with making sounds!

I wasn't programing modular synths back in the 70s. I just played them, but because of that, I know intimately how they sounded, and I did copy some patch sheets, and I knew others who programmed modular synths with style and finesse. This takes me back to those days. Unlike those days, I don't get interrupted in the middle of writing a song to soldier loose connections on one of the studio synths. If they ever put that into software then it will have become TOO real.

Not one decent tutorial! In English! And the lame six oscillator tutorial doesn't really do anything to motivate. It simply goes too fast and doesn't start with any coherent method aimed at the first timer or even someone familiar with synths who couldn't afford decent modular gear !Don't be such snobs! make it easier to adapt to!that said this thing keeps challenging me and now I'm getting amazing results. The new modules Should be free for people who have supported and instrument such as this with the serious lack of Comprehensive tutorials. Certainly the king of soft modulars on iOS ! I am starting to understand but I want more info please !peace christo

I was so exited to use this app, but it works terribly on both an iPhone 5s and iPad Mini. Some cables just refuse to connect and the screen likes to jump around on its own, not to mention some weird latency and other buggy behavior. I'd gladly pay for this if it worked well! Hoping for fixes soon.
