Perfect for planning trips!

This app is perfect for planning any trip and adventure. I love how I can bookmark places I want to visit, which will help me make the most of my study abroad semester. Also, the app is great for discovering new places because it suggests nearby things to do, landmarks, food, etc. Simply using the app is hyping me up for my trip. I can't wait to visit all the places in my map!

A little temperamental...

Looks beautiful. Still trying to discover the apps usefulness. I want to believe! It would be nice if there was a greater range of aggregated content. Wikipedia is good for general information. I suppose the historical use of an Atlas is to provide general information; however, this being a modern reincarnation there should be a larger variety of sources available. If this were to integrate the beautiful presentation of its maps, Wikipedia content and aggregate data from something like Trip Advisor this would be a killer app!

The roads in my neighborhood are wrong. A nearby road that opened about two years ago is not on this map. This is an atlas and already I can not trust it.

Great for trip planning, just the right level of detail to get an overview of an area. You can bookmark places you plan to visit -- zoom in to mark sites within a city, then zoom out to see all the cities in which you've bookmarked places. The thumbnail-sketch description is just the right amount of detail to jog your memory about why you bookmarked the place without overwhelming with details (which you can get from your guidebook anyway).
