Modern Atlas is very useful in locating countries and cities of the world. You can shift the map with your finger and “stretch the map to drill down. Or; you can use the search feature if not sure about a general location. One suggestion though; geographic features are a little harder to locate. The 3D feature helps but labeling could be improved. Otherwise this app is a wonderful tool to have in your phone, especially when reading the news and not sure where a topic location is.
Doesn’t work with IOS 12 or 13

App was last updated 3 years ago and does not work with IOS 12 or 13. All you get is a tan grid with city dots. I’ve emailed the developer but no response. DO NOT BUY.
Just what I've been looking for

As an avid traveler I've been waiting for an app like this for years. I was lucky to be a beta tester for Modern Atlas over the last few months and have loved using it to plan my last two trips. It was really helpful when I visited Mexico without any plans. The app makes it super easy to find the best things to do in any area and even has great educational content on the area. At such a low price this app is a must.

It finds its way neatly in the space between not quite knowing what you are looking for and not having the tools to find it. This app is perfect for the wanderlust traveler and the every day explorer! I recently moved to San Francisco and this app has been my tour guide! When I want to know the name of a building, I open Modern Atlas and it tells me not only the name, but neat historic facts too! I can't wait to use this in my future travels to plan ahead and use on the spot!
