Wonderful potential!

This app is sure to become a staple of my trip planning apps with improvement. But it consistently crashes after 10 or 15 minutes using IOS 9.3.2. Crashes seem to occur most often when zooming in. Would be more useful if maps could be downloaded to the device.

Beautiful and informative, but feature lacking.

This app has some great potential. Great information for finding places to visit during a vacation and bookmark them for later. The visual inspiration is a neat feature and the typography is laid out beautifully. The app is still new though and has a few quirks and needed features to make it better than the other travel apps out there. If I'm reading a guide and like the look of a place, the blue links open a webpage rather than the location info on the map so I have to then search for the place and bookmark it that way. Being able to add personal notes to bookmarked items is a must have feature that is missing. I'm also wondering if the bookmarks and maps will work when I travel and have no wifi, there doesn't seem to be an "available offline" option. I think it would be better if the app used google maps so it had the most up to date information rather than open maps, I looked up a few places in search that didn't show up when they exist in google maps. Search doesn't appear to have a local or global filter. Foursquare search doesn't seem to work for any of the search terms I used either.

Looks promising

I've been playing around with the app for a couple minutes. The App looks like it gots potential my biggest complaint would be how long it takes to load. The App lags (iPhone 6)I'm sure this will be fixed in the future. The other thing I find annoying it's there is no x button on the side when an information box comes up. This App is brand new and still has a long way to go. If you're looking for a well establish lag free/bug free app than this is not it. However if you're looking for an app that may come in handy in the future I recommend getting it now that's only 99 cents.

Interesting

Nice app but there is room for improvement. Maps should load faster.

Perfect for trip planning

Steph Egg

This is app is perfect for planning any trip and adventure. I love how I can bookmark places I want to visit, which will really help me get the most out of my study abroad semester. Also, it's really great for discovering new places because the app suggests nearby things to do, landmarks, food, and more. Simply using the app is hyping me up for my trip. I can't wait to go and visit all the places in my map!

Easy to use, very good information

Wow! I may have officially just converted from TripAdvisor/Yelp to Modern Atlas. It's really easy to navigate and the information is spot on. Definitely useful for any kind of trip and worth every penny.

The most beautiful travel app ever

Gishii

Innovative map-based approach to travel whether you're planning or in the midst of the fascinating world of travel. The photos make this the most beautiful travel app ever. I was surprised by how much interesting data lives beneath the surface of this easy to use app. My go-to app whether I'm traveling the world, or exploring my own neighborhood.

Terrible useless app, just use google or trip advisor

Amf08006

Terrible app. Information is laughably basic and only available for major tourists attractions. Trip advisor is so much more useful. Any idiot who planned their trip using this app doesn't know how to do basic research or use google images. Content is laughably generic. Worse .99 cents ever spent. Notice how all positive reviews written within 3 days of one another.

Don't waste your money

Try this app for $.99. Has almost no content. New York City buy had one listing. How it got apples recommended list is a mystery to me.
