Updates?!?!

Es_erika

This app hasn't been updated since 2015? So since my iPhone now runs iOS 10, will I forever have to see the annoying start-up message that the app may not be compatible with my phone? (How about a "check here" box to disregard after seeing it once?!) This app needs updates! How about a refresh button? How about seeing basal rates (atleast temp basals!)? Bolus history? Sensor ISIG? This app/ device has so much potential but it is sad to see that everything seems to be going into advertisements instead of actual app development. Disappointing indeed. Medtronic - offering the Basics... ?? ...

Please add Apple Watch app

I'm a long distance runner with type 1 diabetes. If I could see my BG level on my Apple Watch it would change my life! Please consider adding this capability.

Good information

Right on the phone. This has been great for me. Also, having a colorful screen and graph is so much easier to read than the pump. Pleeeeeeease make an app for the Apple Watch now. Update: Hard to believe this has been out this long and still no Apple Watch or Apple Health support. Other companies are so more attuned to those things. I hope Medtronic can figure out what works well for consumers. Another Update: Another month and no update for the Apple Watch?? Why can all the other companies get their apps on Apple Watch and Medtronic cannot? Losing faith in Medtronic. Yet another update: This has to be such an embarrassment to Medtronic not to have an Apple Watch app for this device. It is beyond belief how every other diabetes app has a watch companion app, but not MiniMed.

Good idea, poor follow through

This app continuously fails to stay up to date with the latest IOS. MiniMed seems to not care about staying up to date but instead only wants to advertise capability but not quality. Their competitor has an Apple Watch app that stays up to date, but MiniMed doesn't have a watch app and cannot keep up the iPhone app. Hopefully they step it up to a basic level soon.

Don't waste your time and money

I will never buy anything from Medtronic ever again. This app was great for 5minutes before it lost the signal for the uploader. Never worked again. Doesn't matter anyway because the Enlite sensor is completely inaccurate. Why go through all of this for bad data? The failsafe function where is shuts off the pump when you're low would be great if you were actually low when it says you are. Up all night with a pump that won't stay on and a child with blood sugars in the 300s. Not to mention that when I called to simply find out which model iPhone to buy to get this to work, customer service was extremely rude and insisted that I could not possibly have received the uploader (which I had) and that I needed to buy one. This is a great idea, but the execution is terrible. On the upside, my child is very happy with her new iPhone.

Connectivity and Compatibility

ActiveMan

The concept of this app is phenomenal. It provides a handheld platform for displaying glucose sensor trend information, and updates cloud information for my healthcare providers. It has been incredibly useful for driving and skiing when my insulin pump is not readily accessible. I display the app when driving, and use it to plan stops and snacks based on the trend graph. I use it to monitor glucose while skiing similarly when my pump is under layers of clothing. The display of pump, sensor, and uploader status shows battery levels, connectivity, remaining insulin, and remaining sensor life at a glance. One complaint is that it sometimes takes a while to connect and display the trend graph, and sometimes hangs up doing so. A second complaint is that the development team is slow to keep up with Apple IOS releases. While the app still functions, this necessitates an override when first launching the app.

Awesome!

Just upgraded to 630g! What an awesome pump! when will this be available on that devise? I really enjoyed and my family enjoyed being able to have the ablilty to see what my blood glucose was at anytime during the day! So little irritated that this feature isn't available on my new devise. But works fantastic on my old paradigm revel pump!!

Mini med connect is a great concept and often it allows me to look at my phone instead of digging my pump out. My only two complaints are that the software keeps loosing the connection to my pump. If I don't keep the app running continuously then when I restart it I will have to connect the device (pump) again which is a pain Second complaint is that there is no Apple Watch app. That would make this software so much more useful

Pleased but need an alarm.

I rely greatly on this APP to monitor my daughter at night. It's great, but please please add an alarm to the app. I can't hear her alarm on the pump & with this APP on my phone next to my bed.... I need an alarm for LOWS. Please please add an alarm feature!!
