Conflicts with cars Bluetooth

I have a 2019 Countryman with Mini Connected. After getting it set up I got this app which I loved because of all of the functionality to check the status of doors and windows, lock/unlock etc. But as soon as I used anything on the app my Bluetooth audio connection would fail. Amazon Music and Pandora disappear and iTunes music isn't available. Only solution is to choose between the car functionality and the app functionality which is annoying because you shouldn't have to choose.

Fix findmate problems

App works fine for what it’s purpose is BUT there is a major issue with the findmate tags. They disappear from the app over and over. I’ve repaired the same tag multiple times now. The Tags are useless unless fixed and that doesn’t seem like anything Mini (or BMW) seem to care about given the other reviews and how long this issue has been a reported problem.

I have a 2019 JCW Iconic w/ Nav & Driver Assistant so pretty much the top of the line. I do not have the Remote/Info tabs under the vehicle image. The vehicle and all the data is correct so WTH?

But it is. This week’s update doesn’t load available apps. So, navigation through Waze is okay but without the app recognizing Spotify as an app, you have to connect via USB which doesn’t give you access to the menu, playlists or anything else. As much as I love my Mini, I HATE the app. It’s a joke compared to the available technology. The entire development team needs to be fired.

Won’t connect to apps

This app was working great until the last “fix” now my apps rarely show up. I’ve reinstalled and reconnected several times and that works occasionally. Very frustrating.

Can’t login, can’t send email, can’t confirm email. And no way to contact them about it.

Can’t do anything if it won’t send you a confirmation email no matter how many times you press resend. It doesn’t even try, it repeats over and over to press the retry button. I can’t find anyway to contact the app makers, app support is unavailable. I recently got my Mini and I’m in love but I just wish I could connect my phone another way.

Not sure why the developer isn’t paying attention to all these reviews letting them know that this app does not work. My husband recently purchased his Mini and neither one of us can use this app. Same complaints as everyone else here. Please update!

I have used this before and it worked. Uncovered my Mini Cooper S convertible for the summer and tried using this app and after re-entering my VIN # I received an error. Same error another reviewer also received. I called Customer Service and was told to call back in a week as they were updating their systems and that the Connected App should work. They don’t know anything about how to get this to work. This is just pointless and a complete waste of time.
