Essential

Jimmy Baum

I've had MindNode for a few years but have only recently started using it to its full potential. It's intuitive layouts and keyboard shortcuts are great. Exporting to TextBundle and other formats are also helpful. Combined with a writing app like Ulysses, MindNode is an essential piece to my workflows on iOS. Thanks!

Love the app

Prenez

I ran into a glitch where a default named "Mind Map.mindnode" in iCloud created in MacOS didn't sync correctly with the iOS app and wiped out some data I'd created, but file|revert|browse versions saved the day, as usual. Love the markdown conversion to ulysses, and love posting the mind map to the web. This is a remarkable and clean app with a bright future.

One of my first go-tos

This app is truly amazing. Allows me to organize and create ideas in a simple yet powerful manner. You can see both the Forrest and the trees with this. Indispensable for a writer.

Not syncing properly

Osama Bin Dead

Mind maps from my iPhone do not sync correctly to my iPad. Some will show up but none can be opened. It just shows the red cloud button and when I click on it nothing happens.

Beautifully simple

Wonderful application for developing concepts. The interface and export is optimal for communicating ideas simply. Highly recommend.

One of the best in the market

I've loved the simple elegance of this tool. There isn't a lot of fluff and looks more professional and clean than any of the others I've seen over the years. I use this tool for personal and work use as a product manager. Even using this on my phone is smooth and hardly interrupts my thought process. Thanks for a great tool!

New review by me after some power use. Three needs to make it useful for power use ( larger maps:) 1) collapsible branches 2) a lock (button) to hold the branches in place 3) notes (this not as important as the first two) This mind map sneeks up on you. It is so basic with such seeming limited features that it is easy to 'count it out.' The more I use it, the more I find it the mind map of my choice. It is clean, fast, easy to manuver, and it just works. With the price of the desktop & its ease of use I found 'the runt' has championed the day.

Excellent!

Great app, very helpful, wished there were password protection

I love MindNode and use this all the time for helping organize my thoughts. Very intuitive interface, beautiful and elegant, and they constantly update it! The only thing that prevents this from getting five stars is having password protection--I would appreciate this for certain MindNode documents that I want to keep from prying eyes. If they implement this, then it's 5 stars!
