Great way to dive into programming

Kenneth Trueman

I am new to programming and have struggled to find a resource that allows me to start from the start. The overall approach is great and the test exercises (particuarly the ability to reorder code) are very helpful.

Pricey and no iPad support

007 Benny

Just hard to justify $50 upfront to a dev with no track record and no guarantees of the promised additional content coming through. Or even continued survival. Would strongly recommend that you lower the cost or provide a monthly option. As others have stated, the Facebook post requirement is a strange one.

Awesome way to learn how to code. Only issue was the app crashing on the first few login attempts.

Great concept and easy way to learn

Domino Theory

As a total beginner to all things coding, I've been begging for someone to make an intuitive and imbedded program to make it straight forward to learn coding. Codeacademy does this on PC but having this on mobile is crucial. Mimo nailed that need. I get others complaints about no monthly option but 50 dollars for one whole year of access to coding on your phone is a steal.

Amazing but wish it was free

I think coding/programming is fascinating. I have been interested in technology as far as I can remember. I want to learn so badly, and I thought this would be helpful and free. I'm sure there is good reason for it costing money and I get that. It just seems really hard to come by an app or game that's helpful, fun... And Free

Java programmer

I am an I.T major and I signed up for a Java programming class. This app is pretty good but there are websites online that are completely free. I like how it has the pure basics like introducing the class and gives you feedback on what you did wrong. Much like working with an ide. If it was free a lot of people who want to know programming would definetly look at it because it would be right on there phone.

Nope

Yeah I'm not paying you 50$ because you asked me to Order a p b and j instruction list.

Not sure why the $50 is a big issue...

DrumKing13

People are willing to spend $50 on a shirt or pants but are iffy on spending $50 on an app that will TEACH you something? That's funny... the app does an amazing job. You guys don't really expect the developers to work for free do you?

Worth consideration for ppl wanting to learn to code on the go.

AOLsplay

Pretty neat app. I've been looking for an app to learn code on the go. It works well with some grammar issues and I think some code errors but I don't know for sure. You can do the first two sections of each language the cost of a Twitter post promoting the app. It could be worth the price if you're serious about learning. This isn't video tutorials this is actual coding and concept work. So give it a shot and see if the app is for you.
