Misleading - $50/year

Bryce Layne

Sure, the app is free...for about 10 seconds. The minute you pass the first chapter, your told that to continue, you'll need to pay $49.99/year. Overpriced if you ask me. Also, how are you going to expect someone to pay for an app if they haven't gotten the chance to experience what they're paying for? You wouldn't buy a car before test driving it! The first chapter is not nearly enough of a test drive! DO NOT BOTHER DOWNLOADING!

Nah

Better off using alternative sources like Codecademy or edX or even Khan Academy, which are absolutely free for all users. Unlike this app, they teach you to code by letting you build functions and apps from scratch. Have a think about this: if you want to learn skills to build apps/websites/whatever, would you star by leaning to answer multiple choice questions or get your hands on building things?

Annoying

Shadow2034

If you are looking for a "free app" this isn't it. You will get one free lesson before being prompted to get a $50 yearly subscription. Otherwise it's just an app taking up space on your device.

Learn quickly

Eltorothebeast

This app will teach you how to learn coding so fast it's breathtaking.

A solid complement to more formal courses

Bailreg

This was a solid complement to many online courses that I was taking a parallel. It was a good refresher, and something to keep my brain focused during a few months of C# learning that I was focusing on.

Love it!

Just downloaded the program today, and after taking engineering classes, I can confirm this is the best way to learn code. It makes sense, goes through all the steps, and defines examples clearly. Would recommend to everyone after only one day of use!

Subscription is practically required

Dragon_Aries

Edit: found a subscription plan that works for me. Will rate this app 5 stars once monthly subscriptions are available to everyone. So far, though, the app is easy to understand and kinda fun. I like it ^^ —————————— If it was like $4.17 a month for 3 months— or even 6 months— I’d be a lot more comfortable purchasing the subscription. Which, by the way, is required to get past the first lesson. But, it’s for a year. Which is really $50 a year. I don’t want to spend $50 on something unless I REALLY want it. So, app developers, you should really listen to all the feedback saying this: Either lower the price, lower the required subscription length, or give a one or two week free trial with unlimited access. Believe it or not, it’ll more than likely increase your customers and income. That aside— Actually, no. I won’t review the quality of the app until I can actually use it. For less than $50.

So Dissappointing

Charlotte Juno

I was pretty excited about this app and started immediately. Apparently, u get a "sample level" and have to pay for all the rest and sign up for "premium" . Very disappointed

Good app however the price is a bit high

Guflgjgv

This app had a decent trial available but for 49.99 for the full app? Hmm... A bit questionable... If it was a bit lower then I may purchase but at this moment, it's a bit out of price point.

I thought that this app would be really cool but after I finished the first QUIZ on basic knowledge it wanted me to pay $4.17 for a membership to unlock the next set of instructions.
