i can explain in words how much i love this app. best resource to id on the go. especially with sorting the bird list to where you are and just exploring. it beats flipping through a thick field guide looking for birds that fit a small criteria. and even if it doesnt get you down to the one species (if 2 look too similar) its a great guide to where to look. i recomend this to any bird lover

If you enjoy birds like I do, but have limited knowledge, this is a wonderfully useful tool!

This app has helped me so many times when I just wasn’t sure what kind of bird I’d photographed. Especially when visiting New Mexico, where I'm not familiar with the birds. Although it’s not perfect I think if you have a decent photo it’s usually spot on. I’d recommend it to bird photographers out there! Thanks Merlin!

This is an excellent app for newbie birders, but also has lots of useful information for experts. The photo ID function works surprisingly well even on mediocre pictures. Great job! I am patiently awaiting bird packs for Asia, Africa, and Australia.

This app is the best. It always is right in bird identifying and when I got my bird feeder I couldn’t name a single bird and after exploring and identifying all of my birds I know them all! The one thing I would really like is if there was a saved section where you could keep the birds you have identified in one place other than that I absolutely love the app!
Word choice matters
I absolutely loved this app!... Until one update... there was a change from browse* to explore* birds. I want to be able to scroll through the full list of birds, sort by family, &c. The new format requires me to type in at least one character in the search bar to see any birds. If I type "duck", I won't actually see the vast majority of the ducks, simply because most of them don't say 'duck' in their name! Also, a personal checklist would be great, especially if you could tag a location!

I've tried 4 other bird I'd apps and none as good as this! Now if they only wrote one for wildflowers!
