App is ok but….

I’ve ordered groceries online from Meijer pretty much since they made it available it’s more convenient than dragging all my kids to the store. But I’ve noticed the last few weeks (months?) the app has had a lag in it (quite often)I’m using the latest app version and I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that hasn’t seemed to fix anything. It will literally stop working in the middle of typing into the search bar and just freeze. I do enjoy using the app for convenience but it is frustrating to have to wait it out a few minutes or close the app all together and restart.

Search isn’t the best, and when I do a pickup order, it tells me to go review substitutions, but clicking on it does nothing. So I never have any idea what’s missing or substituted until I pick up. This really needs to be fixed.

substitutions/out of stock not showing until AFTER pick up

Love ordering and picking up, but the substitution/out of stock has only worked for me 1 time out of 10. If this continues not to work, I may need to try another store. It is too inconvenient to not know before i pick up whether or not an item wasn’t available. Knowing in advance means I can plan to stop elsewhere if a critical item wasn’t available. I hope this bug can be resolved soon. when it worked it was great.

If you want to constantly be overcharge at time of picking up your order at the store, use this app! They will remove coupons after you pick it up with absolutely no explanation. Contact customer service and they will be of our help.

There are no pictures or descriptions most of the time when I review substitutions when I order groceries for pickup.

Substitutions Not Working

Substitutions are no longer working on the app. When you click “Review Substitutions”, you get a loading screen that takes you back to your order information without showing you anything. I absolutely hate having the worker tell me what all the substitutions are. It’s very awkward and puts me in an uncomfortable position because I don’t want them to have to go through bags and take things out right there in the parking lot but I also don’t want to pay for things that will not work for me. PLEASE FIX THIS.

Love Meijer and love that they do grocery pick up now! The only issue I have is that the app glitches when trying to review my substitutions. Otherwise, it’s a great system!

Loved this app and service until recently

The last two weeks have been sketchy with this app to say the least. I can’t preview/approve most substitutions when I submit an online order for pick up. So I don’t approve any and then it’s a surprise when I get home after work all day and live 20 minutes from the store. Or I hold up the already very busy workers at Meijer and approve all of my substitutions over the phone, which has to be frustrating for those working during these busy holidays. Please fix this! I absolutely loved the app and being able to pick up my grocery order on my way home from work every week. Before this I’d rate it 5 stars.

The app will tell you pickup is free until check out where a pickup charge is added.
