People should stop whining!

I have used MANY apps and this is one of the best. If there is subscription, people complaint. If there is Ad, people complaint. So how do they make money while you are making money by using the app? C’mon people, nothing is free. Medscape is great in a way to keep it free and accessible for all of you “health care professionals”. If you want subscriptions, buy lexicomp. Message to the developers, thanks for making it an helpful app and Free. I am pretty sure alot of people dont mind the ads as long as it not too distracting.

Usefulness of the app has suffered greatly

1. The app has been valuable because of accurate and extensive information. But the app cannot be used efficiently with the presence of excessive and advertising. 2. The app presented valuable information quickly to both lay users and medical professionals. With the hands, the app seems unprofessional and could easily be taken by Lee persons as a website primarily intended to sell medical products. You have greatly cheapens the app. 3. If you need to monetize the app, then consider an ad free version that professionals in the interested lake people could pay a reasonable fee for as an in app purchase.

Get rid of annoying ads or I will uninstall

Ga_MD

I completelysecond the opinion of the other writer. What is even more annoying is the contamination of other non-medscape apps with medscape ads. In particular, I am seeing entirely too many ads of a Dr Margulis. I have nothing against her personally, but this is too much. I will delete medscape if you cannot fix this problem.

Informative and easy to use

Fruitpunch ninja

Has pretty much everything I need, from drug information, formulary (although seems incomplete for some drugs), to disease overview/treatment. Also very impressed that you can connect to dose calculator directly from drug dosing. I’m very glad that I found this app now that I don’t have free access to lexicomp or uptodate as a student.

Annoying

I love this app better than the others on the same category. I what is ultimately gonna be the reason I delete the app is saved clinical reference articles are not save by account. Then what's the point of logging in. It's just too much of a hassle to search for them one by one on a new device.

Political-NOT-Medical

E.j.Teegarden

This app used to be great for quick references. Sadly, this app now fills your inbox with very biased politically slanted emails. When I attempted to get ahold of the developer or anyone from its service regarding this (because THEY WOULDN'T STOP EVEN AFTER I UNSUBSCRIBED!!!), nobody ever responded. This is UNETHICAL to say the very least and far from professional. Regardless of political view, nobody wants it in the work place, ESPECIALLY in the medical profession. BOTTOMLINE: because this app is now something else than it claims to be, it continues emails and WONT DELETE ACCOUNT, and THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP - ESPECIALLY TO THE Medically-minded.

After years continued intrusive ads

BhBillh

After years of using this the new info from industry pops up several times when I need prescribing info. Ads are distracting and cause problems. Medscape needs to fix this.
