Great overview of most topics. Bounce between Epocrates and Medscape often for med information. I agree with other reviews, adds get old, but understand they help offset costs of the site.

Ads make it very annoying!

I first downloaded Medscape when I was a medical student. I have used it many times in the past, but now I tend to open the app as a last resource. Why? Because of the annoying ads! I’m thinking about paying an uptodate subscription and say farewell to MedScape for good if they don’t remove the ads. We are medical professionals seeking information for the good of our patients, not to pass the time because we are bored. I hope that clarifies my disappointment and reminds you of the purpose of this app and any other source of medical information. At least come with a solution like an advertisement-free version that is not free...
