Now is working as before , good response by developers Great app

A must-have app; can be better

Hadikm

I am a medical student and I use Medscape on a daily basis; it’s the quickest and best way to look up or check medical terms. Lots of functionality. Great. Please update the app to have multi-task and split-screen/overlay on iPadOS. It’s very important for me to simultaneously take notes or to have my reference book besides Medscape and see both. Also being able to have multiple windows is really useful. Thanks

Ads have completely disrupted functionality

Tyflyhigh55

Cannot scroll through an article for more than 10 seconds without having safari open inadvertently because my finger brushed on one of the million ads indurating every page. Extraordinarily distracting - I’ll be sticking to UptoDate for any mobile reference needs from here on out.

News format

sometime quilter

Don’t like the new news format - too annoying to keep scrolling; looking for various categories was easier before

Drug incompatibility error

Frankly883

Medscape says milrinone and Lasix drip are both compatible but hospital's micro Medix says incompatible. I have emailed them twice with no response. Except a robot saying they received my email. As a nurse I need to know whether it's compatible or not and be able to trust this app. I especially now don't trust it due to the lack of response. It has now been over a month.

Search bar stopped working

Dr Gil95

Previously it was the best resource available, now not being able to use the search bar after last update. Are you making the app laggy to older devices on purpose? I think I will have to switch to Epocrates if this continue to happen. Hope you can fix this soon, I really liked Medscape.

Ads have become completely intrusive.

I used Medscape throughout medical school and it quickly became my go to resource. I’ve used essentially ever major medical app and this was hands down my favorite. Now the app will not allow a section of text to be ad free. I’ll scroll down while reading and a new ad will insert itself between the text. This is exceptionally distracting and interrupts reading. Why can’t they just keep the ad banners down at the bottom? There is already one there anyway? I probably will be uninstalling Medscape, which is very disheartening because I’ve been using it for so long. In their quest for ad space they have lost someone to advertise to, and I’ve lost a great resource. There’s no winners in this scenario. It was a good run while it lasted and I’ll always be appreciative towards the app, but I can no longer support it.

Ads completely distracting

Used medscape for years. Now extremely frustrating to use. Ads pop up every 3-5 seconds and actually disrupt scrolling/reading. I am deleting the app.
