The options in this app are 99% unhealthy with little protein. Also they make you email them to cancel membership.

Nothing is more annoying than getting to the front of the line and having your app tell you it needs to update and then having to get out of line and fiddle with it.

Delivery service tip options are 0, 3, 4 points without other options.

They are robbing from you!!!! Under any condition! Even there’s a bunch of holiday! And when you still have money on the account!!!! They won’t extend the “plan” which you have all your money there without using it!!!! Once this “plan” ends, they will CLOSE your account and you will lose every single money you deposited there!!!!!!!!!! Foods are terrible as well! Only cold and overnight foods probably made from yesterday, no good foods there!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS APP!

the current version has a bug where it doesn’t give you the option to scan for a QR code. i end up having to “ask friend to pick up for you” and send the invite to myself so that i can use a web browser to scan the code. super annoying. devs fix your app

Okay I’ve had mealpal for years so generally have been happy with the service. However they chose to change my plan, charging me twice as much without notification. And their customer service is acting as if that is okay. I expect plan costs to rise or change but they should not be changing your plan without notification. Who knows when they’ll do that next? And note in their terms of use they say they will communicate changes to plan but I received no such notification

If you put your account on hold (e.g. you have remaining credits so don’t want to get autocharged the next month), you will lose those credits for not using them timely. They make their money from pocketing people’s leftover food credits like this. Straight from their terms of agreements: ‘ If you go on hold, any unused credits before you go on hold will not rollover to your cycle when you return from hold. No refund. You acknowledge and agree that once an amount of credits has been loaded onto your account that amount will be non-refundable’

Seriously. It’s so frustrating when I’m trying to scan the code the next day when I have to rate the previous days lunch.
