THEY WILL NOT LET YOU DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

fallpanicparamore<3

They make it incredibly difficult to delete your account even after multiple emails to customer service etc — this seems criminal. Do NOT create an account w them they will continue charging you forever

Good service, no weekends tho

elseth7

I love this service. It provides adorable options in an unaffordable area. The only downside is that it’s not available on weekends. Some of us work on weekends and would appreciate expanded service!

Do not get this app!

MaryRG198620

I downloaded this app and used it for a month, it wasn’t the most convenient thing for me, so I decided to cancel this subscription, but when I tried to stop the service, they wouldn’t stop it and they charge me again, you can’t cancel the subscription through the app you have to send an email and I’ve sent multiple ones and my account is still not canceled.Don’t download this app unless you’re sure you want to stick with it forever, because you can never get rid of them

Broken signup process - terrible app

Kenzan Boo

The signup process doesn't let you select the address. It's completely broken

Sell you lunches and then make sure you can't use them

RyanMFRobinson

The app prevented me from accessing it for a week or so due to payment error. Once it was fixed there was no way I could use the meals I had paid for. I reached out and got a minor adjustment but nothing close to be able to use all of my meals I had. And I used this service for a LONG time. Just really bad customer service and most good restaurants have abandoned this service as well. Shame.

Anti-consumer UX design, borderline hostile

Gravitational

I do UX for a living and there’s no excuse for the design decisions implemented across their app+webpage. Specifically that the ui doesn't handle allowing the user to cancel the auto renewal of their plan with a click+confirmation. They are intentionally making it harder to cancel/adjust your plan. I had to email someone and they manually adjusted my plan. So you’re telling me it’s cheaper to pay a CSR to manually adjust a plan than to add a button that handshakes with your backend? Sorry I don’t buy it… Furthermore, you’re auto renewing my plan and not telling me the price? The lack of transparency is predatory. I did a number of google searches trying to figure out how to adjust my plan without emailing and discovered that this issue has been around since 2016. Reading through other reviews, users have complained about being billed an entire year without their knowledge only to have MealPal say “sorry too bad”. I highly recommend that you fix your app not because you risk more harshly worded reviews but potential litigation.

Service is TERRIBLE

laserpk

This app idea is great and all, but the service is terrible!! I got the dinner meal plan and wanted to cancel my account and instead they charged me for more! This is so unprofessional and I would much rather use another app that has better customer service. You’re better off with using a more reliable app.

The worst customer service of all time

MerkaDerk

I have been in a multi-year battle to have my membership canceled. I am constantly charged and I have not used the service for years. If you sign up, you will pay until the day that you die. No amount of emails will stop you from one day being charged again. I am more likely to end up in a relationship with Kendall Jenner than I am likely to stop paying for this god forsaken service. It’s good when you use the service, but I hope you are ready for a 70 year commitment.

Not worth it

andyandy321

$80 for 12 meals plan-after tax, It’s $92 for 12 meals which is not bad, less than $8 a meal. BUT, that’s a scam! 12meals that’s fake. You get 60 credits for the $92 you paid, and each meal costs 6 to 7 credits. That’s less than 10 meals for $92. Not many options to chose for your meal, poor food quality most of the time. So definitely not worth it.
