Song title blank in mini-player, frequent pausing

This app is hands down the best music player available in the amount of customization it offers. I’ve tried many over the years and only found one other that was as sophisticated until the developer gave up on it (Tuneshell). I never understood why Apple didn’t put more effort into the stock music app and iTunes given how the iPod/iPhone revived the nearly dead company, but even more baffling is their willingness to maintain complete control of the API and hamstring third party app development while refusing to invest in their own quality music products. That being said, this latest update seems to have added a minor bug that removed the song title from the mini player and only shows the album cover in the lower right corner. Not a huge problem but one that makes it difficult to know what is currently playing when browsing the queue. I am definitely getting the startup delay you mentioned with long lists. I currently have 20,000 total songs loaded and your advisory on this issue was one reason I put off migrating to iOS 13 as long as I did, but now the song pauses briefly every 20 seconds or so. This is an unfortunate deal-breaker for me and one I dearly hope will be fixed soon. Marvis has been a stellar product and I can only hope it withstands Apple’s control-freak attitude towards third party apps in the future. Update: Thanks for the quick and helpful response! Great customer support is like gold nowadays in the digital world.
A bit slow

Sometimes it takes a while to start playing a song after tapping on the song title. Relaunching the app seems to solve this. Otherwise a very cool player. Another nice little detail that’d be cool if added: option to preserve the original album cover proportions (Music.app does this). Not all album covers are square, and thus some are cropped if forced to fit into a square mask.

Marvis has completely changed the way I organize my music on my phone. The customization is endless. The ways to set the app to fit your needs from UI to even down to being able to change Artist Images, Marvis does it all. Usually when I purchase third party apps for Apple Music I delete them after a week but two months in and I can’t stop using it. Customer service is helpful and detailed as well.

When did this app get so good?? I remember using it over a year ago and it was clunky and cumbersome. I rediscovered it earlier this year and was completely blown away by the polish, speed, and customization it now offers. Incredible job Marvis dev (or devs)!!

Waaaay better than the iOS stock app and much better than any other music player app in the store! Well worth the cost, and I would have probably switched sooner, but there was no trial period. I think more people would use the app if they had an option to try before buying. 5 stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t tell you how much I love this app! I will probably continue Apple Music subscription after the trial period only because Marvis Pro makes sense of the mess Apple player shows. I can customize and find anything easily. Thanks!!

In short, this is an app that Apple will mirror in a year or two. This app is absolutely amazing. It’s a bit of a learning curve, but is well worth discovering everything. I was thinking about buying this for a few weeks (seeing if I could snag it on sale or not). Thankfully, I’m confined in my home for a few weeks so I pulled the trigger and I am glad I did. This is 100% worth every penny. I’m sure I have much more to learn, so enough with the review and back to having fun! Cheers to the dev! ?
No shuffle button in now playing

I had really hoped the new dedicated shuffle button setting that the dev added would fix this but apparently the dev isn’t actually listening. I have to swipe up to see if I have shuffle enabled which is just insane.
