I love how marvin 3 is user friendly and have a lot of freedom to change few details in the ebook such as tags and the metadata

Are you kidding me that I can't lock portrait mode on my new iPad Pro? That is an deal-breaker. Who wants to have to unlock, rotate, and relock into portrait mode every time I want to read? And then all of that in reverse when I want to go back to surfing the net in landscape. How is this possible in Marvin Classic and not Marvin 3? Sorry, but that's how you get your app immediately deleted.

I used the original Marvin which only had .epub support for importing files, etc. When Marvin 3 came out, I was expecting more support for e-book formats which is a reasonable feature request/expectation. Then I was forced to not only “donate” more money to see my files (exported from Marvin) in full-screen view, but .pdf support was never added. Even syncing with Calibre (which is badly-implemented) didn’t resolve the problem. The app doesn’t natively support the .pdf format. A waste of money. Get KyBook instead. An awesome app that natively supports numerous formats.

I'd give it full stars if when paying 4.99 to unlock full page view and all features if it included all color schemes. Shouldn't have to "tip" extra to get those if you advertise that 4.99 unlocks premium features

This is an excellent app, the best out there in terms of the plethora of features it has and how well it works for reading. On the other hand, the gigantic number of features are hidden in weird locations and there are very unintuitive workflows. Once you’ve conquered the learning curve, you’ll love it 95% of the time. You’ll hate it for 5% of the time when you forget where a setting is, and can’t find it in the app or in the nearly nonexistent documentation. I sometimes try other apps in that 5% of the time, but I keep coming back to this one.

It's good but its output of annotation is in reverse order (the most recent first, not in chronicle order). In addition, the output could have used book title by default, rather than blank.

The app is beautiful, more so than iBooks. I loved the customization options and the auto-scroll while I was reading. I was seriously considering paying for the pro/unlocked option. Unfortunately, when I tried to load more books (121, to be precise; I previously had 20 on there) into the app, it crashed. And crashed. And kept on crashing each time I attempted to open the app. I’m so disappointed by this; I really thought I’d found a perfect iOS ebook reader. Another thing to note that others have mentioned that is extremely irritating is the continual Dropbox error message. I also find it ridiculous that you have to pay more to unlock different colors; most ebook apps offer this at a free charge, not a price of 99 cents or a bundle of $4.99...

I have an ipad2 running ios9. When I try to link Marvin3 to my Dropbox account, I get the pop-up asking if I want to link it, and then Marvin3 appears to crash, dropping me back to the home screen of my iPad.
