Good except when displaying code in Packt ePub

This is an easy application to us. I downloaded this app in order to read software documentation in epub format. The problem I am having is with blocks of code being displayed as black text with a black background when reading books by Packt Publishing. Other epubs work fine.
Wish there were more Metrics

Great app with lots of customization. It's very pretty. Comparable to KyBooks. Wish it had a metrics page for how much time you've read per week, pages/hour, words/min etc. Also wish collections by series showed the first book in the series, not just a list
Can’t load books

I’m looking for an ebook reader that won’t purge idle files like the native application. Marvin just doesn’t work. That is, I can’t load books into it. I tried to load books via Finder, it just makes Marvin crash. I tried to use Dropbox but it couldn’t load PDFs or find ePubs. Total fail.

Developer no longer supports this app, so stay away! I require dark mode, and it doesn’t even support that simple UI tweak.

I truly hope this app doesn’t become abandonware. I’ve tried a *ton* of different e-reader apps, from the obvious to the obscure, and nothing else comes close to the flexibility, attention to detail, and straight up usability of Marvin. Just get it. Learn it. You’ll never look back. The only thing I would really love to see added to this app is an ability to get books from a Resilio Sync share (similar to Dropbox, but shared only between my own computers). I supposed updating it for compatibility with the Files interface would handle this and many other sources.

Nothing compares. It hasn’t been updated in a while, but it’s still the best ebook reader available for both functionality and book presentation.
