New players, this is fun for a while, but the game is designed around only the very top players who are willing to spend lots of money on the game. You’ll soon realize that nothing, no changes, no new content, no new characters, etc. are designed with you in mind. I’ve played for over 2.5 years and most of the new content made I don’t even have the teams to launch it, let alone win.

This game is like a second job

Game is great when you first start out very intoxicating but once the newbie free stuff runs out it’s bottleneck bottleneck bottleneck the devs don’t test new content and when updates come game is always buggy and freezes when new characters are given boosted chances red stars orbs which is a type of boost even if they are listed as there they are potentially not there and to put into perspective the game only gives you 7 orbs a week and each and with this system you are likey to pull duplicate pulls, on tops of bugs and the stupid red star system you have to fight the devs they purposely move legendary characters around so you don’t have time to farm required toons for said legendary and they manipulate the drops so certain toons don’t show up in in game currency stores and the drop rates on campaign are manipulated as well and last but certainly not least, THE OFFERS I’ve never played a more pay2win game in my entire life no you don’t have to pay to play but if your not bottlenecked on training mats red stars or gold they will sell you it to you for there “90% off” please don’t fall for the game like I did I’ve played it for almost 3 years now and I’ve just barely scratched the surface of crap that players complain about every week get out while you can. Oh yea I forgot to mention he fanbase is currently in talks of going on a spending strike FOR THE SECOND TIME NOW

Beware of playing this game, the company does not have interest on customer wants/needs. Only about squeezing as much money as possible before people start leaving the game.

A once fun game that is sprinting to the grave

I’ve been playing this game for almost two years and over that time there have always been issues. New characters have bugs that don’t get resolved in a timely manner if ever, events don’t work properly, rewards/orbs don’t contain the advertised items until it’s reported, etc. Commonly known and longstanding problems get ignore but the second something springs up inadvertently that benefits the player, it’s fixed immediately. I mention this not because I expect extra free stuff but to highlight Scopely has the means to fix their problems but they don’t. Instead they stay silent and keep pumping out content that is hidden behind pay walls and revamping characters to only make them useful after an investment of excessive resources. I enjoy this game and have overlooked a lot of the issues as I still found enjoyment overall. However the past couple months have been a nosedive in the wrong direction. The developers recently tweaked an event that only a select few had beaten, in order to make it harder on the 99 percent of players that haven’t beaten it. They did this with no notice mind you and have yet to respond to the allegations that they are maliciously editing prereleases content to the detriment of the players. Overall this is turning into a dumpster fire that is increasingly becoming more about milking players for every cent they can.

Better Balance for Training Materials

With new content coming in, there is way too little training materials to go around. Makes the game way less enjoyable as you progress at a glacial pace.

This game is no longer fun

I am sorry to leave this game because the characters and the graphics are great but is becoming too toxic. This game is a chore now and no longer any fun. The community is so unhappy that my former alliance mates complained daily. The lack of resources to build up characters and the rapid release to maximize short term profits reduced the game to a state of constant scarcity of all resources. Stay away from the game if you are starting new because there are no catch up mechanics worth mentioning.

Great base game, horrible management

I’ve played this game for almost 2 years. The animations are great, the characters are fun, the combat can be strategic, and you can do a lot without spending money. With that being said, the company that runs the game is incredibly stingy, incompetent, and does not care about the players beyond how much they pay. Games like this always have bottlenecks, but as each new stage of the game releases more gear and resources are required, but the amount we earn stays the same. The number of characters increases as well with each new game mode, while restricting who we can use and where. My favorite moments in this game involved combining different characters into unique teams to beat certain challenges. Now the game requires use of 5 mutants here, or Wakandans here. Complaints are met with silence. Mistakes that used to result in compensation are no longer guaranteed to. Official communications are withdrawn a week later. I used to spend money on this game. I will not anymore without major changes

The BB and Maw schedule change ruined my plans for the next several months

I play mobile games to have mindless fun. I don’t like to take mobile games with me into real life. So when a company that makes a game I enjoy makes a decision that screws over the entire player base and leaves me being frustrated as I go about my real life stuff, there’s a problem. Scopely is greedy and doesn’t care about their players - and this is a clear indication of that. If you’re considering getting this game, I don’t recommend it - not in its current state. Not until things are changed. If you do get it, don’t give a single cent to this greedy corporation. They don’t deserve your money. TLDR; Scopely doesn’t care about their players, and I might quit because of it.
