i am 16 and i am trying to learn japanese. this app is simple to use and i actually for the first time felt enough good to rate this app. it’s useful for hiragana and katakana and i am obsessed with the satisfaction i get when completing a quiz.

This technique is supposed to be the most effective way to learn. I downloaded this app over a year ago and got through all the kana pretty quickly. I haven’t touched this app in maybe 6 months and today I only got one wrong answer after several rounds. I’m very impressed with my retention, but I give the credit to this app.

As someone who wants to learn Japanese this helps with learning each vowel of the symbols. My only complaint is that I have a hard time learning all the of the vowels and symbols. Even turning off the hint doesnt help cause my mind reverts to the order that the vowels have been placed and I’m not learning to associate the symbols. I think it’s be useful to add a way to randomize them to try to learn them without looking at the order.
