Great Fun for Coastal Dweller

VNABOB

I use this ap each trip onto the shore and get an insiders view of all the local shipping. Also great fun on cruising vacations or just to appreciate the world-wide sweep of ocean commerce and cruise ship activity. Currently tracking ship we will be joining in Barcelona shortly.

Fabulous App

Love being able to look at maritime traffic anywhere in the world!

Great for Cruisers

What a fantastic resource. We cruise a lot and this is great to have to track our journey. It’s cool to see other ships on the ocean and be able to identify them. It also lets family at home know where we are as well. Well done.

Peace of mind

I use this App to check on the progress of my husbands commercial fishing boat. Phone service is not always available but at least I can see where they are and what direction they are headed.

Err

DrBeeper

Constantly signs me out of my account and not sure if it’s me but I can not add more than 5 boats to my fleet.

Money

It’s sad that people have to pay to see almost all the ships

Great fun

We over look Admiralty Inlet. Being able to access information about the “Cruisers” as well as all those handsome tugs is pure joy.

Maybe the best out there, but I want more.

Foretravel

I’ve been using this app for some time, and was understanding in the past that ships far out to sea were not included. I was very happy when satellite contact ships were included, but want more. I would gladly pay more to see some basic ship info, but not a dollar per day per ship. That is too much for a casual user.

What was 5 stars is now 2

All of a sudden, as others have been starting to point out, you now can’t get information on traffic that who’s position is being reported by satellite without a paying a new 99 cent fee. I’m on the St. Lawrence river and all I want to know is the name, where it’s going and the type of ship. I don’t want to track it for 24 hours. I just did a casual search of the St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario and many are now using Satellite. So, an APP that I recommended to many is now on my don’t buy list.

What a letdown!

This app looked great when I first bought it. Now I’m sitting on the St. Lawrence and nothing works. It frequently disconnects. When I can actually look up a ship, it tells me I have to pay .99 for “that feature”. Clearly this app doesn’t work on ATT or Rogers. What a waste of $4.99! ???
