I got a new phone and somehow lost all of my videos. Reached out and they helped me get it all back. Not to mention this is an amazing app.

No Help

callmejoi

I paid $119 plus tax for Marco Polo plus this summer, yearly subscription so should still be good. But ever since I tried to update my number in the app giving me a hard time trying to recover my account. Slow to email me and no number to call. They’ve asked me questions like names of contacts on my Marco Polo account, what my name appears as and I’ve answered and provided email and phone numbers. They say can’t find with phone numbers so sent me link to recover account with email which I know is correct but to no avail. My sisters whom I attached to my Marco Polo account are still using their pod Marco Polo Plus accounts, I know they can see who paid for us all, so why all this trouble? I do not know but I’m getting fed up. I don’t want to lose memories and videos of my baby niece in my Marco Polos and shouldn’t when I’m providing all that was asked for and I paid! Wish someone would actually fix this since seems to clearly be glitch with their system, I know I followed steps to update my number properly and replace with new one. My sisters say they don’t see my account now, but deleted user. If Marco Polo deleted I’m beyond hurt!

I really like this app. Thanks

Nearly a week of an app and paid subscription so buggy it won’t work.

LiFuWe

For the last several days my app has been nothing but a buggy mess. It first started as letting me watch 7-15 seconds of any video from anyone that I was conversing with and it would then ‘buffer’ continuously until quitting the app and reopening it. It would then play the next 7-15 seconds of the video and repeat the cycle until the video was watched. Quitting the app dozens of times for a 5 minute clip has been nonsensical, let alone any video with some length beyond that. Now it’s finally gotten to the point where it’s unbearable. Where before it would retain the last known place in the video and start from there, it now resets the entire video every time I have to quit the app and reopen it in an effort to view the Polo I have waiting for me. I’ve found that deleting the app and reinstalling has solved nothing, nor has changing from a wifi connection to a cellular connection. After speaking with all my siblings who also use the app to see if it’s app wide issues, but they aren’t having any issues. I suppose there may be some difference between their free versions and the premium annual subscription I opted for.

Fix

rags2rn

I am constantly waiting for Marcos to load and getting error messages.

Just tried to subtly trick me into $119/year

Tacopilot

Trying to open Marco Polo on my iPad today I get a loading screen which requires my input to continue. In the middle of the screen there is a big orange button saying CONTINUE and the other less visible option is a small x in the corner. I am not reading what this annoying pop up is saying (writing is too small to get my attention) so I hit the continue button. The popup disappears and another pop up saying confirm my $119 per year subscription. If I got scared and hit the close button (which was my gut reaction) my fingerprint would have purchased and I never would have been the wiser. This is not just Marco Polo’s scam, Apple is making money on this too or they would have stopped this scam in it’s tracks. APPLE, TRICKING PEOPLE TO BUY SOMETHING IS THE SAME THING AS STEALING.
