This is truly a pay to win game. I have played since it came out and I am a active player. I refuse to spend money due to the bugs in the beginning wiping out my progress. Yes you will be bullied by the big spenders. Keep a shield active and you can play but only participate in the events if you drop a shield to attack anyone you will regret it.

The game is great, the changes and updates are terrible. Good chance that whenever gameloft makes adjustments to the game your progress can be stalled or damaged; if it was not for all the people I converse with I would give up

This game is so much fun! I played it for 3 years.

In that time, I have spent thousands of dollars. To help me be competitive to the others in realm. An altercation with another player, and they banished my account. Thousands of dollars and thousands of hours, gone. I would not wish my experience with this game on anyone. Save your time, save your money. Gameloft is a bunch of crooks. I give March of Empires, and Gameloft a 5 star rating for thievery. Good job guys! You really scammed me!

I have been playing for a few years and am a medium sized player. I have never spent a penny and still have fun. There are 2 ways to get ahead. First, spend money. Second, spend time. Do daily events. Get into a good alliance. Be smart about growing and it helps to have an alt to help with resources. Unlike other games, there is not usually tile hitting for resource gatherers.

It is a fun game but it can improve

I find it irritating that lvl 6-7 encounters are very few and far between. I can’t seem to find any encounters that are a challenge. Another thing that bugs me is the fact the the longest shield you can have is a 3 day shield when you might have to be off the game for a week. Shields are also very expensive, especially for weaker players. Another thing you may want to consider is that the research and construction of some buildings take way too long. For instance, to research volley lvl 6 without any boosts takes over 3 years! Also, champion legendary equipment should be easier to obtain and epic equipment should be more abundant. But I still enjoy this game and I play it almost every day. It is a fun strategy/collaboration game that is guaranteed to entertain you.

The friends I made here, is the one thing that keeps me playing, I did contact customer support many times, they do not take RESPONSIBILITY, continued crashes, unable to log in, do you programmers even play the game? Attack program is horrible, while figuring out March size you could and will be anilated, repeat never compensated, funny when you get conveniently ‘locked out’ right when enemy attacks, your unable to shield, until you are totally zeroed out

Not a fast game!

If your looking for a fast game with quick promotions this is not the game for you. If you are looking for a game that you will not have to spend money to really progress then again this is not the game for you. However, if your looking for a game that you can choose to either wait for your upgrades or pay and progress quickly then you’ve come to the right place. Trust me I have debated on spending money on games but this one is a league of its own. It combines the thrill of organizing your armies with the other excitement when you can upgrade your character to be a powerful leader. You can choose to play quietly in peace or fight for the crown and rule the realm a choice which is yours to decide. I would highly recommend this game to any serious player who will dedicate a little of there time or a lot of their time to a game as you will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work in developing this game. There are times where I do wish that the packages contained more variety but over all there a great price for what you do get. Good luck in forging your empire in this epic game.

This game disappoints me. I just quit this game because I was hitting dead’s and saw a enemy teleport next to me without shield on ready to attack me, for once I was quick enough to put my shield on and I thought I was fine. Well I was wrong. Right when I hit use on my 8hr shield the game glitched me out and I got hit 2 times and lost all my troops 2.3M and logged me back in. I used 1k gold to quick heal my 351k army that was left but the game glitches again and when I logged back in it took all that gold but healed no troops. No use spending time in this game. I was finally having fun but that happened.

Pay to win garbage and full of bullies

I’m in Realm 278 and it is dominated by a Turkish alliance with over 3 billion might. And all they do is teleport around the realm and spam attack other castles with no peace shield. For example, I deactivated my peace shield to scout someone for my alliance, [RES], and as soon as it was deactivated there was a level 30 castle near me and spam attacked me. Good thing I had no army in there at the time. These players are more like bots that just bully other castles until they make them quit. They want to have the realm for themselves. Their alliance is [TR-]. They dump hundreds of dollars in this game and thats what Gameloft loves. Besides, why can’t there be a rule limiting the castle levels that you can attack. I’d say 3 levels higher or lower than yours. But no, Gameloft thinks it fair for a level 18 castle to fight a level 30 castle. Besides they’re cowards, and stupid too. They teleport directly next to your castle because they can’t wait one microsecond to attack your’s. Then after they do that they activate their peace shield teleport directly to another castle, deactivate their peace shield, attack then activate it again. These are people that don’t even care about their resources because they have an infinite supply of gold. Besides they’re not even getting nothing out of it. Probably about 20k worth of resources. Ban these players. Such a$$holes! UPDATE: I got kicked out of [RES] for not having my shield active. I got banished(which sends you to a random location in the realm) and these [TR-] guys found me. HOW?!? Do they have trackers with them? Also gotta love it when they share your location so everyone in their alliance knows where you are and have other members come after you. If you look at one of their member’s bonuses after he/she attacks you, he/she has about +600% ranged attack. I say thats a hack. It’s a shame that anyone can call this a strategy “game”. UPDATE: I created an alliance called [NUN] NewUnion. We have plenty of territory and you should join us!
