The BEST. I’ve tried all the others.

Update Feb 2019. This app just keeps getting better and better. I installed a Manything iPhone 4 cam on my old fishing boat. It runs on TMobile unlimited data. It looks at the bilge pump. I get a sound triggered alert when it turns on along with a video ciip showing the water level. Super reliable. Also installed a cam looking at a roof gutter so I can see when it needs cleaning or jams up with debris. I LOVE Manything. It works way better than other competing apps and I’ve tried most of them. Smart developers. They are always improving things. I have been a Manything user for several years now. I have watched the app evolve, getting better and better with each revision. The app team is SMART and also very responsive. If there is a problem they get right on it and fix it. It’s no easy chore keeping the app compatible with many different old iPhones. Lazy companies would obsolete old phones like iPhone 4 but Manything continues to support these old iPhones which makes setting up a camera network very inexpensive. Old iPhone 4s with clean ESNs go for $25 all the time on eBay. The features on the app are just incredible. You can use your touchscreen to mark certain zones in the field of view that won’t trigger motion alerts. You can get text and email alerts. Every feature works and works really well. I’ve tried other competing security camera apps and they just fall short. Manything now supports Hikvision cameras and I’ve installed several. They work flawlessly. I’m a huge Manything fan because they deliver and they care deeply about resolving problems as fast as possible. The result is a great product that just keeps getting better. It is just amazing to get motion triggered alerts and video clips sent to phone showing a package left on my porch while I was on a cruise in Alaska, also while walking on a beach in Bali. Truly amazing.

Manything rocks

This app is so good. 90% as good as a 6000$ commercial install, for free or 10$ if you need lots of cams. Highly flexible. We use it to monitor the boat, workshop, and home when we’re on vacation. Amazing product.

Awesome app so far!

chicaem29

I’ve only been using the app for 5 days but so far it’s been great. I needed a way to keep an eye on my foster dogs while I’m out of the house and I needed an app that would work on the old iOS on my iPad 2. This app is perfect for my needs. Video is clear and it does a great job at picking up sound and motion events. No issues running it on an old slow device. I use the free version so I can’t watch all the past event recordings but that hasn’t been necessary for me. This app gives me a lot of peace of mind!

Camera doesn’t reactivate if WiFi temporarily interrupted

kapenske

If WiFi goes out and comes back on the cameras need to be manually reactivated. Makes it rather useless if you’re away from home which is the whole purpose of the cameras. Appears to be a problem only with iPhones, according to their FAQs. Trying now to find another app where this problem doesn’t happen.

Manything was really useful to monitor my pet bird while I was on travel

In Situ

I'm back from my trip to the U.S. Even though I'm back, ManyThing worked so well keeping an eye on Monta, my java sparrow, and even letting me talk to him (!) that I will keep the subscription going. When I'm out I can still check on him, and my partner can check on him from work. Plus I've been able to download a lot of cute clips to upload for FaceBook. The 2nd day I was gone it stopped working for some reason, but my partner was able to get it working again. Other than that one incident, it's been working flawlessly since April 1. I've recommended it to friends.

Easy

PPFUNTIME

There is an tutorial only thing waiting for response is want to add more cameras can follow tutorial or buy subscription so happy can afford! Yes! I hope I can connect camera that I’ve paid for and are getting dusty from lack of use?? finally!

Cloud update

You have to shell out monthly payments to see even a single video. How about require that after certain MB or number videos. So basically, it’s useless unless you pay. The rest is good, hence the two stars
