Excellent App

Superior-360

This app is genius! We use this to monitor our staff and we plan on adding still another unit. We will have 5 vantage points that gives us the surveillance that we need.

Outstanding when properly set up

redsoxjudy

I love this app! I have four cameras (old phones) set up and this is a fool-proof app when I get the set-up right. It took me a while to eliminate the many functions of the iPhone that can mess with the process. Now that I have it right, the reliability and the qulity of the app is really superior...and cheap. A couple of weeks ago, I was able to provide the police with a downloaded video of a car sideswiping my car and crashing through my bushes. I only use those phones as cameras, so I have turned off everything but the wifi. All backgroup app refreshes, including of Manything itself, need to be off because they interrupt the feed. I check for updates to Manything and manually install them when they are issued. Once interupted, the feed must be manually re-esatablished. On the two occasions where I lost my wifi signal, my phone continued to record the feel off-line until I re-established the feed. It isn't that the criticisms are inaccurate - it is just that they do not occur when the system is correctly set up. I love this app!!!

Loving the app but small question

The iPad seems to after a couple minutes the display goes black however I see the status on the top of the screen (time wifi coverage battery etc) I changed the display time out to never buti notice it goes black ? Any suggestions??

Fantastic for home security!

Rotund Wizard

I've been using Manything for well over a year and I couldn't be happier. I started with a single camera and as I found it more and more useful I've moved all the way up to the 5 camera version (well played Manything!). For those complaining about the free version, it's just supposed to be a preview of what the app can do. Manything is a business, of course they want you to want the features of the paid version, that's how they stay in business! Manything, keep doing what you're doing, this is a great product!!!

Great app, great developer!

I've been using manything for over a year now to keep an eye on my house, monitor my 3dprinter and many other things. The app works great, and is very stable for the long term. I also love how responsive the developers are to questions and suggestions. They're constantly working on new updates and just added support for legit CCTV cameras if that's your thing. Highly recommend!

Love it!

Easy to set up and use! I have it on 3 apple devices at home and is it it to monitor front/back door and my fur-kids!

3rd try

Madscien

Third strike... i tried this a few times paid, hoping the bugs would be fixed and some are but others render this app useless to me. I have 2 iphones (a 4s and a 5) running and sometimes get videos that wont play, ever, and now one camera is, after working a couple hours, continuously giving videos that have one frame of the "intruder" frozen, and play that for the entire video interval. Finally, always takes 2-4 tries to delete video clips. I really wanted this to work but today, with a house full of unknown contractors, one camera created 2 bad videos and the other 8-9 of those 1-frame videos. If anything is missing I will have no evidence. Sigh......

It's okay

When it works. But my camera went offline one day into my vacation, no notification or nothing. No low battery or anything. I'm looking for another app.

Great app w pretty good features

Synthmanic

Lots of settings to control motion level and specific area. Options to take photos or videos is great as well. The main complaint I have is that I have to "Delete All" multiple times for my clips to be erased. Everyday I delete all, then a few seconds later they reappear.

When viewing with Bluetooth headphones.

I love this app but would like to see the developer update the app so when viewing "live" the sounds will send to Bluetooth headphones. Currently it defaults to iPhone speakers.
