I was a little skeptical about using the service but when they showed up, the feeling went right away. They were very professional and on-time. All my questions and concerns were met. I loved the experience. I highly recommend using them for your next move. They do EVERYTHING! All your items are super secure and handled with care.

They changed by plan to one 50% more expensive without telling me - they fixed it very quickly though. Otherwise great service, very responsive and easy to deal with. Would definitely use them again. Refreshing to find movers that are not a hassle.

They deliver bins, come back to collect them at your convenience, store them with the non-bin stuff, and deliver it when you ask (we’re not at that point yet, but all but this last bit have gone really well). “We ran out of bins.” “Ok, here are more bins.” Advice: Go big on the early order.

The movers informed me when they were 30 minutes away, and also when they were downstairs. They carried the bins right up the steps and placed them neatly in my living room. They were all very sweet and respectful. Looking forward to my pickup!

Refused Our Stuff!

MakeSpace sounded so promising and we were excited to try it. We were moving from a large apartment to a tiny house and needed a lot of things stored. We were asked to send a shipment inventory, which we did, and were asked to arrange for delivery of our items THEIR facility, which seemed odd and counter to their advertisements. Then, out of the blue, they told us they would not accept our shipment because their DC ops team is not equipped to store crates that big. I never asked them to store the entire crate but specifically told them we would sort things out on delivery day. I saw on FB they advertise that no shipment was too big for them to handle and they told another client they would accept multiple houses worth of stuff! I left a comment to the contrary and was told there must have been a misunderstanding and that I should call their customer service to work it out! Meanwhile I’ve clarified I don’t need the crates stored and the plan was to sort things out on delivery day. No reply! I am floored at their lack of transparency in their advertising and customer service model, and cannot recommend them. it looks like we’ll go brick and mortar and go with an old fashioned storage facility. Bummer! Also, MakeSpace, if you read this, don’t bother to make it right. We’re going in a different direction but I suggest you sync up your Operations and Social Media teams so they’re all on the same page!

App just tells you to contact the company for a price quote. Deleted app right way!

I love Makespace as a service. They could have done so many interesting things with an app but even trying to accomplish basic tasks in the app is so confusing and hard that I gave up and I'm going back to use the website.
