Doesn’t seem to work with iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra

The app used to perform brilliantly until I updated my iPhone and Mac to the latest firmwares. Now the auto lock function doesn’t work. I walk away from my Mac and the app notifies me that it auto locked, but the screen doesn’t actually lock. Tried it several times leaving my phone in a different room. I also think the developer has abandoned the app. Shame, cause it used to work really well. ?
Magically works with the FaceID

Just upgraded my phone and wondered if it can lock/unlock my MacBook Pro with the FaceID. It just magically works! So far, there’s only one thing need to be improved. Please update the UI to fit for iPhone X. Thank you so much!

Problem 1. The devices would not find each other. Solution: Toggling Bluetooth on and off, resetting Bluetooth did not work, so I uninstalled MacID from both iPhone and Mac and then reinstalled after rebooting both devices. This resolved my Bluetooth connectivity issues. Problem 2. The app did not recognize that I’ve changed my login password. Solution: Go into Keychain and delete anything associated with MacID. Disconnect and forget device. Relaunch MacID Re add iPhone. It then asks you to enter your current login password. (For me, multiple times this failed as clicking continue to update my password just hung and did nothing) But this was because I did not relaunch the app after the keychain delete. ? so hopefully now it will go back to working the way it did before which was rather flawless. Definitely some bugs but great app otherwise. I’ve been using it for years. Dev doesn’t really respond to emails but it’s just him a one man army so it’s understandable. Thank you ? this is this best of the bunch. Pretty much a must have.

Can't believe I paid for this app, it worked the day I installed it and the next time I tried to use it it never got connected with the phone, I had to delete the app and reinstall it, for a 3rd time It got disconnected, it never worked with my iWatch either, I'm done with it, one of the worse apps I've gotten.
Do not waste your time or money!

App will not find any Bluetooth device. Tried connecting iPhone and Apple Watch. Exhausted all troubleshooting options.

I had an iPhone 6. This app worked great with my phone and watch. I upgraded to a iPhone X and now I can not get the app on my phone and the app on my computer to link up. I have reset the phone, the computer, and reset the Bluetooth on the computer. Nothing seems to be working. I hope this gets fixed. The app is extremely useful when it works, and it worked without issue for a whole year.

Well, I guess this is my last way to get the feedback to the developer. If you go to the website, it will appear as if he is taking care of the users’ problems. That’s not the case as comments on the blog will be filtered before appearing on the site. I’ve tried several months in good will to report a problem to the developer. Not only has the problem not been resolved, I’ve never once got a response back. He’s working on MacID 2, but he won’t be getting my money this time around.
