MacID is a great idea has few added features that macOS and Apple Watch do not have, however the latest update for MacID renders the app useless as now I have to connect my device to my computer to unlock by this time it's already unlocked and has yet to alert me of authorizing privileges like before when macOS needed permissions.

Sometimes you get pulled away from the workspace and having the system lock up using the proximity is awesome. Had some issues with pairing, but take a few troubleshooting steps. Back in action. Thanks for the app, looking forward to what you're working on as they will be part of the MacID family.

Too many options with little explanation on their use. I couldn't get it to work consistently.

I can't fault a good idea. Especially when the app is free. This app is highly inconsistent in its functioning. Initially it worked quite well, but lately it has become more trouble than it is worth. I'm not saying it is the developer's fault - it may well be that it doesn't work well with certain iterations of hardware. I liked it, but I'm giving up! Way too much time spent trying to make it work.

I love this app but this version doesn't work for me. It sends notification to unlock but after I put my finger to unlock it via Touch ID my mac is still locked Please fix it Thank you

There is nothing I can find that compares to this app. It is amazing and the functionality of it is great. I use it everyday which I didn't think I would at first. I thought it was a cool little toy, then it became a utility.

Stopped working

It worked great until recently. Loved it. Now it doesn't send the password to my MacBook anymore. The iPhone seems to do its part but the mac doesn't. Tried reinstalling both but no luck. Guess I'll uninstall

From Apple's proprietary lineup stable of apps that should have been introduced years ago! I'm dumbfounded as to the reason they didn't think of this ingenious app of amazing features! The concept of being able to lock and unlock my laptop at will from a distance with just my fingerprint is so simple and has become a regular part of my computer security and privacy protocol...I wouldn't know what to do without you, Mac ID!

It was worth the $3.95 to not have to type a cryptic password every time I logged on my Mac. Since the latest update it has been hit or miss. It seems to lose its Bluetooth connection randomly. I've resorted to using the finger tap option to save time with trying and failing to wake up the Mac with the iPhone. Wish I could revert to the old version as I see no difference other than it is now nearly useless except as a method of memory consumption.

I love this app, especially I don't want to move to the latest generation of MacBook Pro. But it seems like the recent Bluetooth ssid randomization feature made the app not so reliable after the mac sleeps. I understand it may be difficult to solve but I hope you can fix it soon.
