I love Lyft and the app is great and getting better, but what I don’t like is not knowing ahead of time (except in the scheduled pick up section) where the rider is going. It does warn you if it’s a long drive but other than that, you really need to Lyft many hours before you go to your full time job which I found out the hard way of being late to work an hour because it didn’t let me know where I was dropping the rider off until they got in the car. But overall the app is great and getting better every update.

I’m quitting soon... ride 45 minutes paid $12 ... after gas , tax ,insurance can’t make money here.

This app is years away compared to the Uber driver app. It’s slow, buggy, it randomly disconnects, maps are not integrated so you’ll have use Google Maps or Waze separately. There’s a lot of tapping, going in and out of the driver app to use maps, as opposed to Uber that everything is built within the app. You may not get requests for hours and when you do it will make you drive 20 min to pickup the rider, only to drive them 1 mile, so you’ll spend time and gas for pennies. Oh and if you set a destination it will send you request from riders going the opposite way!! Lyft, get it together!!!

I don’t need more lights flashing in my face while I’m trying to drive.

The phone version of the app is great. I know as a passenger I feel more comfortable when the driver has an iPad mounted and I can see where they are going. Lyft’s biggest competitor has an iPad driver’s app and hopefully Lyft can add this to their awesome platform and offer one more helpful tool for drivers. I have a cellular enabled iPad and this would be phenomenal to have (passengers like it and I can quickly see the map on a larger screen which is safer, etc.).

Lyft has always let drivers down when it comes down to it they talk a big game about how appreciated we are of you but their talk is soulless and they don’t help you with nothing they take so much and give so little you don’t get paid sometimes they always looking on ways to get over it’s really bad and Uber is even worse ......so if you do this good luck and Godspeed to you

Lyft- The network connectivity issues are horrible. I never once had to “fix” the original Lyft app. It worked just fine. Now I have to shoulder 20 additional steps just to stay connected to the lyft network. How about we just make the driver app as reliable as the original lyft app was? The original lyft app worked just fine. Step your app game up.

App always had issues. Their solution is to uninstall app, turn off phone for 30 seconds, then reinstall. You end up doing that throughout your shift and since this lady update, still don't show up online. Very frustrating when you depend on Friday night being a good night only to get 1 request in 8 hrs.

The Lyft driver app is so sluggish and unresponsive and unreliable on my iPhone X that I can’t trust it will work when I need it to. Passengers expect me to know where I’m going. The app is so sluggish I can’t pick up the rider and start my ride. Navigation won’t load because Lyft app is so slow. Only reliable fix has been to reboot the phone!! I love driving for Lyft but I can’t reliably provide customer service to riders when the tool doesn’t even provide basic functionality.

I drive in the Bay area and the lyft driver app is so much worse than Uber. I easily miss hundreds of dollars a week by not being able to connect to the lyft app even though at that same spot I can connect to Uber. Also it's awful that the lyft app logs me out every 10-20 minutes and sometimes I don't know it logged me out so again I'm missing rides. I don't know how lyft is still in business. In every aspect they are so much worse than Uber
