Works but limited to a single controlling device!

Got the bridge all connected to dimmer switches, setup account, but cannot login in on other devices with the account I setup. Reset everything and tried again, with no success on connecting multiple devices (phones/iPads). Called in to the tech support that according to Lutron’s website is available 24 hours 7 days a week. Found that they are only available during weekday business hours, (this is understandable just advertise as such) All around disappointing

Not bad, could be better

It would be nice to be able to control the dimming speed turning lights on and off. My wife feels that it takes too long right now. Ive hit the 50 item limit and can see another 10 devices that would be nice to have. It would be good if the limit were increased, maybe a pro2hub, or if seamless multi hub support worked in the app without signing in and out. No, I’m not going to switch to ra2. I refuse to ever be stuck calling out someone to manage my system. Alexa support is wonky. Its much more sensitive to phrasing than siri and seems to require long drawn out names for lights when siri seems to just figure it out with natural phrasing. i don’t know if that has to do with lutron or alexa though. I stopped using alexa because of it. Love the watch support. I too would like to see multi user geofencing, so its not nagging me to turn off the lights even though my wife is home and she also has the app installed.

Push notifications?

The app is pretty decent. It would be great if there was an option to get notification at to when the lights go on and off. If there is a way to enable those I haven’t found them, so let me know. If there is not a way then can you creat that option? Thanks!

Almost perfect

This app works great to easily adjust all 22 shades in our home. Several are set on a convenient timer. My only criticism is that the app reports a closed shade in light gray, and an open shade in dark blue. This is totally counterintuitive to what my brain expects, and I always have to remind myself that the lighter color means “closed,” when I naturally expect it to mean “open.” Six months in, and I still have to remind myself of this every time I adjust the shades, so I think this is a natural cognitive expectation that the app designers got wrong. Please fix this. Light color means open, sunlight. Dark color means closed, nighttime. Makes sense, right?

Don’t purchase lighting yet !

I purchased the lutron wireless dimmer switch for my Apple HomeKit ecosystem. I can’t add the bridge to my HomeKit because I get an error saying the device code is incorrect. I spent 6 hours troubleshooting this. Reset everything and tech support can’t help me. Do not purchase this yet until they fix this problem !

Lack of options for linking lights

Sith/Jedi

The remote is a great way to control several dimmer switched lights but there is no way to link the actual switches to each other. It should be a simple thing to do as the remotes already do it.

Great app. Elegant interface.

I set up 7 Lutron Caseta dimmers in about 10 minutes. The response is immediate, zero lag. I couldn’t be happier.

The app is great and Lutron products are solid. My few wishes now are that Lutron make controllable outlets, and also allow the pico remote to pair with the app for HomeKit functionality. After months now, Lutron products have been SOLID and worked great with HomeKit. Thanks devs

Love Lutron. Needs minor improvement.

Let me first let you know that I work as an integrator and smart home products. I first started off using Caséta on my condo. It works great. Love that you can take a home that isn’t wired for three way switches and just place a Pico remote and pair them up. I sold the condo and now in my house and I upgraded to using Ra2 Select. I primarily did this because I wanted the ceiling fan switches that are only available in this line. I really like that the Lutron products are HomeKit compatible. A big plus. That’s what my clients want. Now the needs improvement part... I would like Lutron to add a countdown timer feature. So when a switch gets turned on. It can automatically activate a countdown timer and turn off a device you choose. Example: Bathroom lights. You can achieve this through HomeKit. But it would be nice to have it independent for those users who don’t use Apple products.
