Very Convenient

I started using the app sometime this summer. The interface is confusing at first but I like being able to set different scenarios for my lights and also for having the ability to control the lights from afar. Good job! Please keep up the support!

Does not support iPhone X

Despite having updates released since the iPhone X was announced, this app still does not support it.

Release 5.1 load time is even longer. On launch, app sits with a spinner "starting up" for about 10 seconds and sometimes longer. It's better to use HomeKit, that works instantly talking to the same bridge. The only drawback is, you still cannot access scenes from the Lutron app with HomeKit Hopefully it will be better in the iPhone X with a better CPU.

Generally good, buggy Alexa integration

The app works wonderfully. However, as of recently, the Alexa integration no longer registers devices with Alexa as light switches but instead outlets it seems. I just added four new switches to my house only to find that Alexa will not recognize them as lights in smart groups, and thus won’t turn them on when I ask it to turn the lights on. The old switches added last month all function as lights. Hope you guys can fix this quirk. Caseta is a wonderful system otherwise!

The app is responsive and easy to use, if a bit basic. I waited for a year in hopes of getting multi-user geofencing, but now HomeKit in iOS 11 does it, so I can trigger home and away off that instead. The room/scene UI improvements are intuitive and align better with HomeKit, but I wasn't really itching for that since I use Echos for most of the control. Happy to see the picos able to be hidden, but prior to that, they were already listed below the main switches so it wasn’t a huge hassle.

Love Lutron!!!! However the app update took a lot of functionality away. A major flaw is that I can no longer assign rooms to an area. For example, Incant assign Front Foyer to Downstairs. This is extremely annoying as when I come in and want to turn all downstairs lights on, I simply can’t do it. If there is a way, how? Keeping at 2 stars. Also, my old areas of my house do t display in the scenes section but when I try to create them there, it’s says they are already created.

Gets expensive but these are the Best on the market for sure. Works as advertised, currently have over 20 switches installed. The arriving/leaving setting is great! I have it linked with my Xfinity Home app for added security features an having lutron link flawlessly with apples HomeKit is also a plus. Completely satisfied customer.
