Great App For Losing Weight

RichDnTx

Let’s you make continuous decisions and adjustments all day long about what you will or will not add to your diet.

Terrific app.

I use Lose It to reset my weight to goal when it creeps up. I also got it for my 96 year old mother to track her sodium, caloric, and protein inputs, all of which were critical for her. We’d have had a very difficult managing her health needs without this app. It is very user friendly with versatile application. I highly recommend it.

Great up BUT,

I wish I can group recipes by drinks, vegetables, fruits, low carb etc

So good!

Just started using this app and I really love it. It laid out great and makes tracking food+ exercise really easy.

excellent app, however…

ive been a fan of this app for a few years. pretty, easy to use. however, i find that the intense red/green numbers on the daily/weekly look to be very not helpful. it makes user feel unsettled and unencouraged to log without feeling shameful. please have an option for more neutral colors for log number of daily-weekly. for the calendar view maybe give us a fun sticker strike instead of the boring yet triggering red/green duo? duolingo and myfitnesspal have those, check them out :)

Less than a week using this as a premium member

and I already cannot search for foods in the database. App says I am offline even though I am connected to a wifi network. If this improves, I will update my review.

Tracking has helped me stay focused.

THIS HELPS!

I love this app, it works like one of the firsts ones I used 10 years ago. I quit using the old one because they we bought by a major corporation and it was RUINED with too much clutter. Lose it! Is easy to use, simple, nothing too fancy, no hype, no stupid adverts for things and options you don’t want. I find logging everyday helps me to stay aware of what I’m eating and focused on the goal of better health!

Recipes and challenges

Where did the recipes go after the last update? I had some favorites, but now I can’t cook them anymore since I can’t find them. It didn’t give you an option to print Also, where did the challenges go to? Unable to find on app now.

Disappointed

The only way this seems helpful is if you purchase the upgrade. Telling me I consume less calories if I drink coffee isn’t helpful since I drink coffee EVERY day. This tracks my calories. That is what it’s good for unless the upgrade is purchased. Can’t even join in the social part of it unless commenting on someone else. It doesn’t explain the macros or carbs or protein or anything. I pretty much stay with calories and haven’t lost anything in months. That’s with a calorie deficit and working out (cardio and strength) at least five days a week. I am so discouraged by all of it.
